Cranberry and dandelion root are the ingredients in Jillian Michaels "detox" water...and they "work" because they're diuretics and in some people, have a laxative effect. When you think you're drinking something that will help you, you tend to drink more....and the water and hydration is probably what is helping most…

Without having friends on MFP, I never would have met you, @lstrat115! Oh, the horror!

It's about time someone asked. I always feel so left out around here.

Calorie deficit. Unfortunately, you can't spot reduce.

Nice humble brag. If you really need the calories back (that you're not counting anyway) for lifting, you can enter it under cardio:strength training. Then again, the burn is minimal anyway, so you're not missing anything. Cardio is a significantly better calorie burn if you're really trying to add calories.

You seem angry. Is no one hitting on you?

I don't know how to kiss eight, but you need a calorie deficit to lose weight. If you're eating more than you're burning through feeding, it won't matter. Talk to you OB and make sure you're getting adequate intake for your infants nutrition and see what they recommend as a safe deficit.

Nope. Unfortunately all that does is displace water in your body...and it's not healthy either. Those areas may appear thinner during and right after wrapping, but it won't last in the long run.

Change your genetics?

There's no physical way to "jumpstart" a diet again, and it really comes down to your motivation and how you're feeling about your lifestyle changes. What works for me is setting very small, attainable goals that I can achieve in a day or a week (some examples include marking out water bottles for increased water intake,…

If OP is truly experiencing a plateau, they need deficit, not a surplus. OP, congrats on your initial losses! Weight loss is tricky and you'll hear often here that it's not linear - there will be weeks you see loss and weeks you may not - but the overall trend will be downward as long as you are maintaining a deficit.…

It's an overestimate for me. I go with half to 2/3 of what it gives me.

Cannot. Live. Without. We buy our beans from a local roaster that roasts on site the morning before we pick them up. Sometimes they're even warm...mmmmm. Nothing better than a pour over though- I recommend trying it if you never have!
