I've gone from rushing about getting ready for work to now, sitting here just amazed by what I have read. Im so sorry that you have had a rough start in life and had to deal with things a young boy shouldn't have but, WoW your story of how you fought through this and turned your life around is incredible and will inspire…

Ok it's September, back to business back to MFP. What does your daily/weekly lifting routine look like? So many options, alternate parts, full body. What do you do?

Hi ladies, question about deficit. I too am lifting however trying to lose weight right now. Mfp has my limit set to 1400, so is that my deficit if I maintain that calorie limit? When you say, a deficit of 500, what does that mean? Thanks !

Hi there! I'm wondering if most people workout with a friend and therefore have a spotter or on their own? I am more of solo workout person however, it makes me nervous lifting too heavy in case I need help, I don't want to yell out for help, lol. How do people handle this? How do you keep adding weights and pushing…

Wow amazing!! Congrats. Can you share what your calories/exercise routine was? Did have days where you went over or were you pretty much in target most if the time? Would love any success tips! Way to go!!

I'm netting about 1600-1700 per day on the weekly average. I guess the problem is right there. I'm amazed when I read about people losing on 1800 a day? I need to figure out the daily calories that will generate weight loss for me. During the week I'm probably at 1400-1500 per day but my weekends are too excessive. Hmmmmm.…

As soon as you put yourself up against the clock you're setting yourself up to fail. - this really hits home, my progress has stalled for months because I'm less than 10lbs from my first goal and I keep setting timelines. Ty. Congrats on your success!!

Amazing results, so impressive! These are the results I want for myself. I've lost a lot of weight and am probably down to the last 20? I run 3x per week and have been heavy lifting rather inconsistently but maybe on average 1x per week? I'm so confused about calories. Mfp has me set at 1200 which I rarely achieve at 5'9",…

Way to go! I'm normally a lurker but I had to comment here, wow! Question, did you find your arms were flappy as you lost weight and did they tighten up lifting? I have flappy arms right now and I hope weight lifting will help

Wow wow wow!! Unreal, way to go! So, you ate 1200 and had xxxxtra calories from exercise unused? How many exercise calories did you burn ( or have earned as surplus) every day? I have no excuses for me now regarding my slow loss, lol. Congrats to you and your wife, big time.
-
Also, were you small before or always at your previous weight? Is your work/day active? Sorry for all the questions, I'm really trying to figure out how I can achieve this based on exercise, lifestyle. I have a desk job so my only movement is when I'm working out. Thanks again!!

@Susiepoop345 amazing success!! I'm 5 9 and at your starting weight. My loss is very slow now, I can't believe you have accomplished in 100 days!! Did you have cheat day (s) on the weekend? Did you drink alcohol? I need to buckle down and get to goal. Was everyday about 1300 after your workout, during the weekend too? I…

Congratulations !! I just googled parkour as I had no idea what it was. That is so cool and crazy, scary at the same time. Wow. I think I'll pass but good for you!

Amazing results! Can I ask which macros you follow to build muscle? Do I need to put the bagel down? :(

Ah, winning!

Congratulations on your amazing success! I listened to your podcast and really enjoyed hearing about your journey, I felt a lump in my throat when you choked up. I can relate. You are very inspiring

When I go out to eat I now look over the whole menu and create my own dish. For example, if they have rice, veggies, avocados I create my own bowl and ensure little oil and no dairy. Hot sauce on the side, it's hilarious how often I do this. I am very nice about it as you never want to upset the cooks ( or servers)

Congratulations!! Amazing success!!! What a great post too, love it. Um, double-dipping is still wrong and if someone did that in my guacamole I would lose it :)
