Losing weight while lifting?
Please help. I'm overloaded with information and I don't know what to believe. I am trying to lose weight, 40lbs to go. I run 3x a week and am now just starting to consistently lift 3x per week. (Before I was lifting 3x per month?) I'm lifting what is heavy to me, pushing myself. My calories are supposed to be 1200 per day…

Going to the gym by yourself.
I want to focus on heavy lifting but, how do you do this on your own at the gym? When I was bench pressing, my arms felt week so I went to Dumbbells. I don't want to ask a stranger to spot so just curious what you do for those that work out on your own? Thx

Who is lifting?!
I love reading all of the success threads and have made a big decision that I'm going to focus more on lifting and less on the scale.
