Good for you!!! It's not easy to stop being angry when you lose someone, you did it and I'm sure your mom is smiling from heaven

Thank you for sharing and congratulations !!!! I love your story, your determination and perseverance. I really liked what you had to say at the end about getting to know yourself as a unique individual. So true, we are all guilty of comparing ourselves and it is the worst thing you can do. I'm taking your advice, thank…

As of today, I have 53 pounds to reach my goal!!! I am thrilled. When I started last year, I was 92 pounds away. That was depressing and seemed impossible. 10lbs at a time - since rejoining MFP I've lost over 17lbs which has been WAAYYY quicker than my progress last year. I'm doing to, who is with me??

I am less than 3 lb away from 20lbs since Jan 1st!!! See you in 20lb crushed in April :)

It's tough for sure. I think it really depends on what you're eating all day, I know in the past when I didn't eat right before dinner, I would charge through the front door like a crazy woman needling dinner! And usually carbs and comfort food. When I'm on track, I make better choices. What does your tropical day look…

Welcome Tiffany! It is so hard not to focus on the scale, I feel the same way. This time I've taken measurements and will focus more on that. Exercise, track in MFP and stuck with us, you will do it!!

I'm here for a good time, not a long time! As of today my total loss on MFP is 16lb!! I started last year so my loss is actually almost 40lb however, I'm going to base this on my loss on MFP and getting to goal now less than 60lbs!!!!

Ok I feel as though I could fill the page. Or could I? It's funny because I'm feeling so guilty over my weekend but really, it was all good, healthy food? But definitely over my target so yes, I should be here :) I spent the weekend at my friends place in Toronto, they have everything in the city, I went a little nuts. I'm…

Mr grama in heaven inspires me. I miss her everyday, it was the greatest loss in my life, and my family. She was the glue. She was such a unique person, everyone loved her. She was always a little overweight, it was her amazing polish cooking. It wasn't a big deal however, I remember my grama always watching her weight and…

Nibble on grapes! I've actually stopped nibbling all together, trust me I used to. Now, I allow myself snacking at night only, grapes, snow peas, popcorn. Otherwise, I don't snack in between my meals and now I'm so used to it. I know some experts say to eat every 3 hours but for me I found it very difficult to plan. Some…

Ladies I can relate, I have undies and jeans in all sizes and I'm kind of glad that I'm a clothes hoarder because now that I'm on my way back down, my wardrobe is increasing. Tonight I tried on a pair of new jeans I bought too small and they fit, I cried.

Welcome Stacey and Marisa! Love your goals, specific and attainable. Stacey, just take it one day at a time, focus on 10lb increments, not the big picture. Ladies, we are doing this!!

1. Get comfortable being uncomfortable - push yourself out of your comfort zone, work a little harder, go that extra mile. You will not achieve great results by being comfortable. I've embraced the feeling of hunger, not starvation but the hunger I feel by cutting my calories. It's ok, it is good for my body. I love the…
