Gorgeous gorgeous! Way to go!

Did W4D2 I think, today. There were two 5-min runs and two 3-min runs. I kind of went off the diet rails this weekend, and my legs were so heavy today. :( Guess I learned a lesson. OR DID I? Probably not. :)

Volleyball, tennis, C25K, bike, swim, hike, camp, garden, walk 10,000-15,000 steps per day. I have a gym membership for doing SL5x5 but I just hate going there or being there. I like the lifting part, but the gym is meh.

It had been 2 weeks since my last run, so I did W4D1 again. It was hard due to heat (100 deg and zero shade), but doable legs-wise and cardio-wise. Too bad I had to come back to my desk so red and wiped-out looking. Something I learned from the last time I did this was to keep a cold bottle of water in my work locker, so…

Pork rinds. Mr Cheese O's crunchy cheese snack thingees.

I have lost 7.6 pounds in 6 weeks doing moderate carbs -- generally 80-100 total carbs per day. I am very close to goal (maybe 5-10 lbs to go) and had been stalled for... YEARS... so this 7.6 lb in 6 weeks has been huuuge for me.

It's not that people don't think to google, it's that sometimes it's nice to hear from real people what they actually do in the real world, rather than trusting a black & white recipe or a snazzy glamour shot on Pinterest.

me! Did W4D1 on Wednesday. Going pretty well this time around !

Wow, it's been a long time. I've had injuries, don't like my gym, yadda yadda. BUT I went back on Monday and started over on SL5x5, just wanting mostly to test out my joints that have been hurting. I did Workout A, just the bar for everything. Had some slight pain in the elbow and shoulder during BP, very minor. And oddly…

Take a very cold bottle of water with you. I lived in Vegas and I would just run holding a small, semi-frozen bottle of water (didn't stay frozen long), switching it from hand to hand every few minutes. Then anytime I saw a sprinkler on, I'd try to run through it. :) Also, walk breaks and "just stand here in the shade for…

Albuquerque. It's just like Breaking Bad. ;)

Thanks! I did it! I'm downing water right now. Next time I might take a bottle with me. It was HOT and dry out there. But... W4D1 in the books, yay!

I'll be doing W4D1 today at lunch. It's supposed to be 99 degrees at lunch today, but I fear if I don't go then, I won't go after I get home from work (too tired, laundry, garden, things to tend to, you know how it goes). SO I'm going to go for it. I'm actually looking forward to it. :) Those island pictures are awesome. I…

ah good point, thanks. I'll figure something else out.

Just got a fitbit charge HR for my birthday (yesterday). I'm not allowed to wear it while at work, so have to leave it in my car and put it on for actual workouts, evenings, and on weekends. Anyway, https://www.fitbit.com/user/2FZJ9J that's me. :)

I'm a beginner again, too. I started LCHF on May 1 and have been feeling great on it. June 1 (or May 27, really) starting a new workout plan of Stronglifts 5x5 and C25K, plus some daily planks/pushups/etc. I hope to unveil the "new and improved" me at my week-long Kauai vacation in early October. :)

:D :D :D I also get the "bigger and longer" ones. I love the portion control though. Because with jarred PB, I'm like "2 Tbsp means how much can I fit onto a Tbsp, twice, right?" I need to find these protein Wild Friends versions!

"I deserve this." Meaning, I deserve this treat/food/rest.

LOL I love the spiking heart rate image. :) I wrote a little something about this, sorta, on my blog a while back. We have rattlesnakes all over the damn place here in New Mexico, and once you see one, every single thing looks like a snake for a while. I now call it "Everything is a Snake Syndrome" Everything Is a Snake

These are wonderful! And there's a Parmesan flavor, too. Not sure which I like best. Both are delish. Too bad at Sprouts right now they are $2.49/bag, which is 1 serving. But still, YUM CITY.

I pretty much started over on SL5x5 yesterday after being away from the gym for over a month, aside from 1 or 2 half-assed attempts during March. I have determined that if I want to do lifting along with all the other things I like doing (volleyball, jogging, skateboarding, roller skating, biking, gardening, fishing,…

Yes, I'm almost your exact stats. 5'9" CW 158, GW 145. :) I'm 40, I have 1 daughter, age 10. I work full time as well, and squeeze my workouts in during lunch break or on my way home from work. I am about to start taking my daughter and dog out on jogs with me in the evenings now that it's staying light later. :) I'll add…

Ugh I've been sick for 2 weeks. Time to get back at it today. It will probably recommend that I deload back to my starting weights! Oh well, that would be better than nothing, right? Trying to do Mon/Wed/Sat this week. I have a really hard time making space in my schedule for the gym lately. I won't be able to do…

Bench Press -- 5x5 @ 55 lb. I am ready to go up to 60 lb next time! Rows -- 5x5 @ 55 lb. Ready for 60 next time on this one too. Bicep curls --…

I save calories almost every day for an Outshine fruit popsicle. Grape, tangerine, pomegranate, lime... all around 70-80 calories each and so good!

I have this same problem when I run. I'm thinking... suspenders? onesie? LOL no. I would say if Lululemon has high-waisted leggings out now, Target & sports stores will have them out at half the price in 6 months. Interested in reading responses, because I need help now too.
