Even the last few weeks when it was relatively warm here, in the 70's it was running. I do that too and it's enough that when I blow it out and shake my hand it slings off. (Sorry for the grossness)

Mr. Tim: Just another question. It was cold to me this morning around 43 degrees. What do you do to help keep your ears warm? Helpful advice welcome. Thanks

I'm 59 years old and a slow jogger. I probably jog 2.5 of the 3.5 miles. I live in West TN which is horrible for sinus sufferers, though I can say I don't have horrible allergies. I'm trying to train to do a 10K next year. No matter whether it runs or not, I'm not giving up. It's a small price to pay.

Some people don't know what a healthy weight is. Ignore them and smile.

People at my work do the "Magic Soup", you can google it. It is just a low calorie vegetable soup, but they say it tastes good. I do my own version of Taco soup, which is about 120 cap per serving. But I love soup when I'm watching what I eat, it's filling and you get lots of veggies.

Thanks for everyone's input. It is truly appreciated. Donna

Thanks for the feedback. I did it on recipe builder and wanted to be as accurate and I can.

Pretty much, I'm the only one eating it. I'm the only one eating healthy in my house! I have 18 year old girls that could care less, but the soup was yummy.

A cool morning to jog for a change!

I had a gastric bypass 20 years ago. After 10 years, I started to gain back. My original weight at bypass was 335 lbs, I lost to 160 and was good for a long time, but lack of discipline, watching what I ate, and not exercising brought me back to 250lbs. I yo-yo'd for about 5 years and couldn't motivate myself. I finally…

Daily fluctuations in weight frustrate me and lead me to go off track. I stick to weekly weights. Some people can do daily weights but it's not for me.

I lost 3.4 lbs this past week and I jogged a little bit farther. I saw a puppy in the park this morning with a couple and he was so cute, small black-probably a poodle, and these posts!

Awesome post! Thanks everyone for sharing. If I was more computer savvy, I would share. I have 2 Cocker Spaniels and a Great Pyrennes and 8 cats, what can I say! lol Everyone have a great day.

Scrambled are sometimes an issue for my stomach, but not the boiled or fried, I've never tried to poach before, not sure how to do that, but I usually take the first one with me to work at breakfast and eat the second at dinner on a salad, but I think I am going to up it to 3 a day with all of the good advice I've gotten…

An AA saying is "Keep coming back!" It's very applicable here. lol

Feel free to add. I'm trying to be more accountable and post more!

Lost 4.4 lbs this week my first week by starting back walking 30-60 minutes daily and maintaining approximately a 1200 cal diet and being accountable every day and logging. Trying to lose some weight before I go to New Orleans at the end of October, get healthier and lose 20 lbs I gained in the past year, but also, goal is…

How long do hard boiled eggs last in the refrigerator? Thanks

I'm 59, want to be healthy! I've gained about 20 lbs. in the last year, stopped walking/jogging and eating out of control. My goals are to be able to travel when I retire and just live a healthy lifestyle and hopefully to some stress relief. I'm in a high stress job, so the exercise and being healthier help. Started back…

Just for today 1) I will write down everything I eat. 2) I will stay under my calorie goal. 3) I will walk an additional 30 minutes tonight and do 20 minutes on the stationary bike. I walked 30 minutes at lunch. 4) I'm going to work on my crochet tonight.

I say both, but until I hit 200 pound after going from 250, I never exercised, I just watched what I ate. Once I hit 200, I guess my body adjusted and I had to up the ante and start exercising.

Just for today 1: Log all food and stay under my count 2: Log all water and get in 8 glasses 3: Walk for 30 minutes at work and 30 minutes after work 4: Keep a positive attitude! This does work. Just back after being away since last September 2015. Hope all are well and look forward to reading your just for today's.
