I absolutely love my Blaze. I had a flex and charge HR before this. It doesn't feel cheap and the battery lasts slightly more than 3 days for me.

Anyone can add me as well :)

I used to feel like that and hated the gym because of it. Now, I go around my neighborhood once (sometimes twice) a day. I started out walking and wearing GIANT sunglasses so no one would recognize me. Still wear the giant sunglasses, but now I'm doing c25k and not feeling shameful. It's kind of nice too because I see the…

I like it because of the social aspect. I'm always in challenges with my family and friends and it feels so good to crush them*. Apparently I'm really competitive. *My mother is currently destroying me this week though...

I was diagnosed with BED a few years ago. It took me several therapists to find one that worked well with me through my school. Once I finally found someone who I felt understood me, I began to make a lot of progress. I know this isn't much help, but I just want you to know that I get how hard it is! I used to binge eat so…

I'm 5'1" and both my doctor and nutritionist put me on 1,000 calories a day. My mother who is 5'3" was put on 1,200 by her doctor a few years ago. Yours doesn't sound TOO far fetched. I would grab a second opinion though if you're concerned.

Finished doing week 3 yesterday. Starting week 4 now!

I'm 5'1" and feel your struggle. My issue is that I. Love. Food. Being short means that I have to eat less food... but I don't want to eat less food because I love the act of eating food... really good food. I'm losing weight because of CICO, but I do still wish I could eat a lot more sometimes. As others mentioned, it's a…

Not even a little bit. 60 more days of work left before I go to to dental school. I've been counting down for months.

I'm a teacher sitting in class right now on MFP while my students work. No regrets.

At 5'1", that's like the story of my life haha.

A week really isn't much. Keep doing what you're doing and check your weight again next week.

I agree with c25k! The program is awesome. I have completed it twice already and am doing it for the third time. However, definitely focus on slowing down. My running/jogging pace is SUPER slow but my heart rate is way up there and it's the safest pace for me.

I just upgraded from the Charge HR to the Blaze and I love it! Pros: Blaze looks really nice (all of the others look cheap and like plastic IMO), gives me motivation to go my daily walk/jog, the social aspect of the challenges keeps me competing against my friends, I can control my music when I do C25K without pulling my…

Got my blaze a couple of days ago and I love it! https://www.fitbit.com/user/46D2Q6

I'm a high school science teacher. I would sell my soul for 10 hours by myself. That sounds awesome.

Unfortunately, I have an assigned parking spot at my job that is closer to the building and I can't get in much walking during the day. I did hit 11,000 steps one day at work and my students said I looked like a hamster on a wheel running around my super tiny classroom. I stopped after that... lol

Mine aren't working either.

I've got like 70 to go total (setting small goals on MFP though). I'll send a request your way. Anyone else can feel free to add me :)

Added several of you! Anyone else can feel free to add me as well on here and on FitBit. My email for Fitbit is rduckworth56@midwestern.edu
