My friend is in a wheelchair and he goes to our local recycling center to weigh himself. He knows how much his chair weights so he just deducts that from the scale reading.

Maybe detox? I'm not sure but I did experience the same thing the first 5 days or so. I just pushed through and it went away. In my case I think I was detoxing from loads of sugar.
