Yup that was me last night. Maybe only 3000 calories, but lets say im feeling like garbage this morning! Time to acknowledge it and make better choiced today!

5'4 155lbs.
-
On and off for 6 years. Long stretches off( when diet went out the window). I do better when I'm connecting with like minded people
-
So were similar weight, I am currently eating about 1500-1600 cals per day and losing . 1200 is really low. If your exercising be sure your eating back your exercise calories. You need something sustainable. If you need to eat more to stick with it eat more.
-
900-1000 calories is too low. The bare minimum is 1200, and few people can get by on that. So it's not healthy for your body, nevermind muscle building.

I switched from ww to mfp a few years ago . I was also a bit nervous! Transitioned well but i was doing it all online, not meetings. You can for sure make connections here too! I do better when I'm more involved with the community aspect. All the best!
-
I had a similar experience but am now almost back down to my low weight. You can come back stronger than ever! You got this!
-
My goal this year is abs, because I think I would look super bad *kitten*, and my opinion of myself is the one that matters most lol!
-
Well now it's 101! It's a feel better about your situation thing? Sympathetic to your current ordeal response? You seem nice I want to hug you? Who knows. We're all just spreading the love

If im on the bike or doing some low intensity cardio I enjoy a podcast, right now its the rich roll podcast( health and wellness mostly) Running its fast tempo rock Think like blink 182, linkin park Lifting is heavy metal- killswitch engage, rammstein, in flames, demon hunter
-
Lol yup i second that.
-
Lifting 5 days a week, ( 2 leg days, 1 shoulders, 1 back, 1 arms/chest) workouts average an hour to 1 1/2 hours . Other 2 days are cardio, generally one of them a run. The gym is my happy place/ therapy lol
-
What is ullefurgh? I googled and nothing came up
-
Im slowly switching to organic and free range meat, along with more natural cleaners and bodycare products. Its for sure more expensive, especially with a family. But i will continue to switch where i can and hopefully one day I'm switched over 100%

Using mfp again is mine! I took a break for a couple months, but I only consistently lose when I'm logging
-
My go to is half a salad kit with rotisserie chicken. Approx 30 seconds to prepare lol!
-
How severe is the cramping and numbness? Like can't continue on type? Does it kick in right away? Can you take breaks in between then keep going? I'm a pretty strong believer that if theres a will theres a way, you just gotta find it
-
I recommend listening to some david goggins. Also when a more controversial photo ( i looked it up) is posted on a public forum, reactions need to be expected. Good or bad. Be who you want to be! Let critism make you stronger . Meh just my 2 cents
-
Quickly look up the cals and see if it works for you! Even if it means only having half
-
When I first started it got to me. Now I am used to it lol! I just watch for the downward trend. For some its best to not weigh daily, instead weekly or even monthly if the numbers really mess with ur head
-
I generally find when I first switch from maintenance to weight loss, i go through a 1-2 week period where I feel hungry. After that my body seems to adjust. Could this be the case with you? Do u eventually feel better?
-
Mine is 1700( set to maintenance), but I don't eat back exercise calories. Just personal preference
-
I generally have one 'cheat', 'special' , ' off plan' whatever u wanna call it a week. I try to keep it reasonable. It can really set you back if you go totally nuts on even a semi regular basis
-
It can be especially hard when your partner is not following the same plan as you. I asked my husband to not bring junk food in the house in the beginning, it was just too hard to resist. Try to focus on feeling better, having more energy? Whatever positives you can will help keep you going!
-
Last year was just to get healthy( i started in march) the muscle was just a serious bonus lol! This year I'm getting into running, so running my first 5k and a mini triathlon. I basically just want to become the fittest me possible, continually improving! Aestheticly im hoping to see abs by summer lol!
-
Yes to making it through week 1! Ultimate Starting weight: 210 January 1st 159.4 January goal: 155 Ultimate goal 145 1st Jan 159.4 7th Jan 156.7 14th Jan 21st Jan 28th Jan January loss: 2.7lbs This has been a great motivator, thank you!
-
Well let's see if mine will work lol
-
Sorry self hate was a bit strongly worded, but I do think you need to see yourself as someone worthy of helping, ( worth the effort) in order to make lasting change.

I like the salad kits that come with a protein on it u can pick up in most grocery stores. Sometimes i will do a cheese and cracker pack with a side of carrots if im travelling. A premade sandwich isn't an awful idea, spice it up with lots of veggies and interesting toppings
