  • Just ordered this sample pack: http://simplyprotein.com/simplyprotein-sample-box-best-sellers Kind of excited to try some new stuff :)
  • I do this but I'm usually outside of my calorie limit...I am very petite though and to lose those last 5-10 pounds I need to be quite restrictive or I don't lose. I am also one of those people who doesn't do moderation well. One serving turns into the whole container on certain things like tortilla chips and ice cream. I…
  • Has anyone tried Kay's naturals? http://shop.kaysnaturals.com/
  • I am obsessed with zoodles! I replace zoodles for rice or pasta to go with whatever my family is having for dinner...last night was zoodle pad thai, tonight is zoodles with turkey meat sauce (kids have rotini instead) and tomorrow they are having thai basil beef and I am having zoodles instead of the rice.
  • @MostlyWater: You are my hero! Amazing list!
  • they are so good! I had them with as spaghetti and meat sauce last night and as the base for a Korean beef bowl the night before. Tonight will be zoodle chicken pad thai. It makes it easy to eat what the rest of my family is eating but lower the calories and provides a bit of volume that fits into my caloric goal. They, of…
  • @LeslieB042812 http://proteinpow.com/2014/09/pumpkin-pie-protein-bread.html I used this recipe but used PB2 instead of buckwheat flour and I think I used regular ole brown sugar instead of coconut sugar (cause I didn't have any) and made them as muffins. They were delicious and creamy and not too bad for ya!
  • Kashi Go Lean or Fiber One Original.
  • I have friends that go to the one in Santa Monica and love it...they like the scoreboard idea and I think the motivation is good for them. To me, its a really expensive exercise class I could probably do on my own.
  • I sauté on very high heat--like a little color on the outside but still maintain a "crunch"
  • No I haven't tried those but they sound really good...I am big on muffins because I can store them in the freezer and grab and go for work. The last ones I tried were pumpkin and they are sort of a combination between pumpkin pie and a muffin which I think is awesome! I cant find it in MFP recipes so I must not have saved…
  • I use ON for shakes and I bake with Quest-- I think it bakes better than most others I have tried. I've used the vanilla for various muffin recipes but then got the unflavored kind and made a zucchini pizza crust...amazing and tons of protein! I like it for shakes too but honestly, it's just too expensive for me to go "all…
  • Exactly this! My diary is accurate but for my use--I ended up making it private for this reason...I think there is a tendency to jump to conclusion and no one knows exactly what you are doing but as long as it makes sense to you and it works then go for it! :)
  • Im 5'1" currently 117 and trying to get under 110. No idea what my measurements are
  • I drink shakes on occasion, sometimes as breakfast when I am in a rush. Sometimes in the evening if I have an early dinner and need something before I go to bed otherwise I wake up hungry in the middle of the night. It also kinda takes the place of dessert for me but I find it more filling and satiating than a cookie or…

  • Here is my routine: 4:45 wake up 5:00-600 work out 6-8:30 get everyone ready, drop everyone off and go to work 8:30-5:30 work (no one takes a lunch here so I eat what I have packed at my desk) 5:30-6 pick everyone up and get home 6-9:00 dinner, homework, bathtime, bedtime 9-10: paperwork (school forms, random work emails)…
  • I use fiber one original in my greek yogurt...granola is too sweet to me but I like a little "crunch" to top my yogurt. its 60 calories/30 gram serving which I think is pretty good! Id say granola is twice that (or more).
  • Hi all! I am 5'1" CW 117 GW 105-110 Right now I am focusing mostly on running for a potential half-marathon when I get down to my goal weight and post run I plan to start lifting again and probably come back up to about 110.
  • I try not to eat them back on a regular day--I use them as a "cushion" or "bank" for days that I go over or have no control over the circumstances and have to estimate like work events or going out to dinner where I try to make good choices but it is hard to stay in my allotment. Not sure if that makes sense to you...
  • That sounds fantastic! Thanks for the recipe!
  • I am trying cauliflower pizza tonight--I did zucchini earlier this week and thought it was fantastic! I have high hopes!
  • I am 5'1" currently 118 with a goal weight of 105-110...we shall see when I get closer!
  • I think they do...texture-wise a little softer.
  • I like weight lifting but I loooove running. I have a very limited amount of free time and what makes me happiest wins :) When I lift I just feel rushed that its cutting into the time I could have used for a run. One day when my kids/job/life are a little less demanding, I will probably lift 3 days a week. I have…

  • I use them as a replacement for the noodles in pho
  • I have this problem too! I set aside approx 100 calories for a snack around that time...and make sure it has either a good amount of protein or fiber to carry me through till dinner. Either light and fit greek yogurt or a homemade protein bar or muffin.
  • I do a half banana in most of my smoothies too--it improves the sweetness and the texture of the smoothie. I use unsweetened protein powder because I am not crazy about the artificial sweet taste that comes with most flavored powders.
  • This sounds really good--I love smoothies!
