It is so refreshing reading these posts. The blogs at fidbit are to often negative. Sometimes mean. I use my Fit bit and MFP to look for trends. I don't expect my fitbit to be 100% accurate. But I know I'm making great progress. I have lost 46 lbs since February.

I stopped comparing myself to others. I try to use that energy to do what I can. I've been dieting for a month now. I have lost 16 lbs. My meds are metabolized better. My struggle it's that poison fast food. My mantra, if you can hold it in your hands, don't eat it.

I am having problems getting 1200 cal. When I eat good food, veggies etc. It takes too much food to hit goal. I'm eating so much broccoli my face is turning green (joking).

I have lost 14 pounds in the last 14 days. I needed to lose a total of 57 lbs. I knew I would drop a few pounds quickly, but not this fast. I'm eating 1200 to 1500 calories a day. Should I be concerned at this point in losing weight too fast?

Because your halfway there already. You've identified and accepted you have a mental illness. Now you've taken a positive step forward by deciding on therapy. Two things to remember: stigma, remember that mental illnesses are physical illnesses with environmental triggers. Never give up hope.

I'm so glad I found this thread. I was surprised too. I have bp2 ptsd. I'm on 5 psych meds plus blood pressure and cholesterol. I was a fast food junkie. I've noticed I'm getting hypo mania. I think it's the change in food.Anyone have this experience?
