  • Obviously, if you don't need to restrict things, don't do it. Most gluten-free breads are disappointing at best, and usually higher in calories than their gluten-ful counterparts.   • I eat way, way, way more carbs than I probably should but I've managed to lose around 7 (maybe more, I don't know how accurate my starting weight was...) pounds so far, so it's totally possible.
  • I haven't done them in at least a year, but I've made sweet potato black bean burgers that are uh-mazing. Recipe here. Other than that, just baked or made into sweet potato fries are my favorite ways. Love 'em.
  • Tinkyada pasta is probably the best GF pasta on the market, at least that I've tried. Holds up just like gluten-full pasta. I really like this site for snacks and sweets. The bf is allergic to dairy and has Celiac so we do a lot of dairy/gf. As a benefit too a lot of the recipes are one bowl, so minimal cleanup!

  • I made falafel with collard greens mixed in and some roasted potatoes/eggplant. Had some pesto hummus in the fridge on top of both!
