This really resonated with me. Hopefully you've found peace.

my question is do you think the nutrients of fruits and vegetables are worthwhile despite the pesticides? I'd say do what you can do. Cleaning up your diet a bit is never a bad thing but don't do it at the expense of livelihood. So how did I not answer the question?

Personally if I eat a spoonful of peanut butter I will be fine. But if I eat a cookie its like im fighting it all day. I can't just eat a few and go about my day. It's always there nagging me. I know its in the cabinet and its calling my name.

1. I'll regain 2. I'll feel like people only like me for my body so I won't trust as easily 3. I'll be ridiculed by my family

I just eat peanut butter and the craving leaves

Yeah so far. :) lb a week lost consistently for 16 weeks! I used primal blueprint and kayaking.

If I were you I'd just not eat until later in the day. I usually don't eat my first meal until 1-2, sometimes 5-6 depending on when I get hungry. When you do eat make it fatty and protein-y(?)

For everyone or just him? Just clarifying.

I do it every morning after the whiz ritual. I like seeing the squiggly line on my chart when I log every day.

I don't know. I imagine skinny people could too if its real.

Find a new obsession. I have aspergers and used to, my special interest was food/nutrition/planning and it was difficult but I found other things to obsess about. Now I'm all about racial tension and the idea of political correctness.

I see that it is...best thing that helped me was those fancy Dr. Scholls inserts. Like the $50 ones.

Oh god sounds like plantar fasciitis. I'm sorry if that's what it turns out to be. I feel your pain. :(

I know I changed my goal for those in my settings.

That shrimp with ginger and mango sounds freaking incredible.

I just add a little salt to peanut butter and eat it with apples.

I never go a week without pork, cauliflower, broccoli, butter, heavy cream (cooking and coffee), avocados, spinach, salsa, guacamole, bacon, Greek yogurt (cooking and fruit dip), sausage, peaches, eggs (omelettes are my go-to), cabbage, okra, cilantro, peanut butter, and cucumbers (to dip in my guacamole)

I buy organic if its on sale for cheaper or close to the regular stuff in price. Otherwise I grow some organic veggies in pots on my front porch and I try to go for bulk grass-fed/pastured meats. I don't think organic has no value to it but it is expensive. I'd say do what you can do. Cleaning up your diet a bit is never a…

My main focus is my fats and carbs. I try to eat more fat than carbs percentage wise. But I mean I don't obsess about it. I just check it at the end of the day to see how I did and if its good, its good. If its bad, its good.

I absolutely love IF. It's amazing how awesome it can feel and the wonders it does for weight loss. As far as my understanding goes, keto for long term (like a few years) could be harmful but short term is fine. My sister who has epilepsy is on a keto diet and has been for two years by recommendation of her doctor.

I don't know many people in my personal life that care about macros. Everyone I know who's on a diet is all about the calories.

Forgive me I can't read minds especially not over the internet. I wasn't expecting a comment to my protein-sugar spike statement and when i received one I really didn't think it'd be to say something that they knew was false. Apparently I over estimate the people on MFP.

My husband really digs the potato chip Ben and Jerry's.

Cutting dairy is hard to do personally. I still eat butter, heavy cream, and some cheese occasionally. I also don't have as intense of an appetite.
-
God everyone here doesn't do as well on some doets as others do. I cut out a lot of sugars, dairy, and gluten and I feel awesome and I'm losing pretty well. First thing I noticed was the drop in water weight which is awesome. Cutting things is sustainable for some people BTW. Some people need structure like that while…

I don't see why further research to help people with depression is funny. Lots of people could benefit if the future research showed tryptophan as a good anti depressant.
