I'm pregnant too. Since I'm overweight I'm eating at a deficit. My maintenance is like 2000 calories so I'm eating 1950 a day. Doctor said is fine to do. I'm 19 weeks pregnant though and I've gained 18 lbs :( If you want to not gain or lose, eat at maintenance :)

Yeah I lost a lot of appetite when I did that for a few weeks. Also the urge to urinate every 20 seconds goes away after the first 3 or 4 days. Because I was full of liquid I was better able to gauge my hunger level (instead of my appetite when I was bored/sad/whatever). Also it really does help clear up your skin,…

18 pounds in 18 weeks but its been slowing down. I'm just worried that I'm going to soar over that 25 mark by the end. And my blood work looks really good and no protein in the urine etc. No swelling, headache, nothing except some really bad cramps but since this is baby #2 they said its going to be worse this time around.…

1200 calories suck and I would never eat that low lol. Go with 1500...see how you do. But I wouldnt go above 1750.
-
I shoot for less than 24 grams a day unless it all came from fruit and vegetables. I do no added sugar though and i dont eat grain. So its a lot easier to stay under
-
Lets do this
-
Better muscle tone means better metabolism and less flappity flaps when you're skinny again.
-
Maybe its been said...but how did you find a protein shake that has no added sugar? Also...what is amazing grass? Sounds weird.
-
My guy does better if he eats higher carb. I definitely stay fuller if I nix carbs. You have to find your personal balance
-
Yep. Because odds are you'll end up eating less and there are a few studies that found low carb eating can help your body burn up to an extra 300 cals a day.

Bakers chocolate, egyptian date candy (easy and amazing. Process dates, cinnamon, and cardamom with a little water. Stir in walnuts. Roll into balls and coat with honey then crushed almonds. They keep awhile too.) or sometimes honestly a few grapes do the trick.
-
I would either shoot for weighing once a day so you could record fluctuations...or maybe once every two weeks. I have friends who weigh once a month even because you can definitely see if there's been progress.
-
Lol this might sound weird but in a little bowl I'll mix turmeric, paprika, cumin, black pepper, garloc powder, red chili flakes, and cinnamon and salt. Sounds weird but its freaking good.

I started at 275 and I wore large shirts and size 18 pants. At my lowest (I gained over the holidays) I was 165 and I wore medium shirts and size 12 pants. It doesn't budge much lol. To add, I'm 5'10 so I probably carry my weight a little differently.
-
I struggled too and honestly, the only thing that helped me was switching to LCHF. I cut sugar for like 30 days by force (trust me its really freaking hard and I barely left the house) and still to this day if I slip up, I go right back into bingeing. That's just been my experience.
-
OMG that would be amazing lol
-
I'd honestly just go into your goals, switch it to maintenance real quick just to see, then switch it back
-
10% carbs, 30% protein, and 60% fat
-
Bakers chocolate, low carb, low calorie, low sugar, it's really become preferred for me over other chocolates
-
You'd get sick probably and as my mother would say, "turn into chocolate", but yeah you'd lose weight. Through deficit and probably diarrhea.

Studies have shown that LCHF people can eat an extra 300 calories extra a day and be on par with others concerning weight loss and maintenance etc. Don't let people talk you into CICO, that is simplifying a complicated process so people don't feel guilty about eating their Oreo's and candy bars. I have had extreme success…

Killed my sex drive and I've gained 10 pounds :( my boyfriend said at his highschool when he was younger they called it the "depopotamus". Mine should wear off soon and im so ready.

I'm 218 lbs

I looked in a few different places online and they all seem to say that with a body weight of 150 its reasonable to burn 100-150 calories an hour of housekeeping. Can this really be true? I know its tiring as hell and it really is hard work but its hard to believe. Burning calories isnt easy.
-
Would that work? To log it as cardio? It's says 2.5 hours is like 500 calories. If I worked like 8 hours that would be outrageous. Should I just log my time by half?
