I'm trying to lose around 40. Started at about 230, goal is 185-190. I lost a bunch this spring and then managed to gain it back over the course of the summer.

I agree with all the above comments stressing that calories in/out is all you need to do to lose weight. The problem is that I currently lack self-control. I need to get that in check. It's easier for me to completely remove the treats and temptations currently. Long term I intend to work them back in with moderation. As…
