At last we have decent weather. A brief walk in the sun this morning. Awesome!

I have no e experience in this area but would guess that anything that could improve your health normally can't hurt. I wish you all the best as you go through this difficult time. If a good attitude counts then I would say you were half way there!

I hope your daughter is feeling better and that the insurance companies have sorted out the compensation.

Just waiting for this lengthy winter to be over...

A lot of, people are saying they have never had the flu as bad as they have had it this year. I hope all you sufferers are better.

I am sorry for those who suffer from this terrible condition and those who care for them. Its hard. I have seen it in my own family and it's tragic. One of my biggest fears.

I couldn't settle down enough to make a specific resolution. I have so many things that need working on. So I am just resolving go do the best I can and not beat up on myself so much.

Well I will mind my p's and woos then.

I suffer from back, knee and some hip pain. I am pretty sure I need at least one knee replaced. Have doctor appointment next month. We shall see.

Congratulations on your retirement! Well done, you! Enjoy your freedom!

Well I for one am going to be less of a hog this season. Hard to believe this year is almost over.
-
Hope you are feeling better. I had a lingering cold last year. Unusual for me. I hope it isn't a sign of things to come.

I hope the pain has eased up!

Cliff is fierce, I can tell you that. He is a wonderful add for your list. Very inspiring with no quit in him.

DST actually began during WWI in an effort to save on fuel for the war effort. And we have been stuck with it ever since. When we were kids we were told it was so kids would not have to wait in the dark for school buses. Apparently, most people never knew why it ever started. I hate it. If I wanted it to feel like midnight…

I am in the same boat as you! It is hard. But we must perservere. I think my problem has partly been with giving myself deadlines. You know, the old "I must lose 50 pounds by Memorial Day" business. And then when it doesn't happen I give up and whatever I have lost returns. It takes however long it takes. That is a hard…

It's a festival of cuteness around here. Not a child you don't want to slobber over.

You are all making such great stuff in your retirement. You could probably sell a lot of this stuff for good money. But then, it might seem like a job and that would ruin it all.

Reminds me of the movie "The Money Pit". "Two weeks, tops!" Something my wife and I would laugh at while we were building our place when things got stalled.[/quote] Well considering the space is about 800 feet I was kind of thinking that it wouldn't take 8-12 weeks to do. I should of course know better. I was witness to a…

We are still not done and no, they didn't. They started off well enough but they still half-assed a few things. We may be in the homestretch. Windows in tomorrow and Wednesday. Then the window trim work and a couple of other things. We already got new stairs to the backyard. Then it will be oddball little things like a…

People are so wierd. If you hauled it up to the cash register, I guess you can haul it to the car. There is some idea that people over 50 are frail. I was at a wedding last weekend and was helping my friend the Mom of Bride move some stuff. There was a box of dishes. "That's too heavy!" she said. "I got it, " I said, and I…

Thanks, BBee and Roda. It's getting there. The new contractor is leaving the old one in the dust literally! Hopefully they will be done by the end of the week, if not sooner!

Well we made the move. It has been the move from hell. The promised renovations were not completed. As we were moving in they were finishing laying the living room floor and it's been pretty much downhill from there. A new contractor has been hired to finish some stuff and redo others. We can only hope that he can do it…
