Am I the only one who misses the Newsfeed? It is so much harder to keep up with the people whose progress I was following and from whom I learned some interesting things.

Got a late start. Because my birthday is Jan 3 and the festivities are spread out I rarely start anything new before the 10th. I am back on the DASH diet which was very successful for me 6 years ago before I hit menopause. Although I was spared night sweats and serious hot flashes, it seems to have put some serious blocks…

You have quite a few challenges. I admire you for not giving up.

A squeeze of lemon. Or I like to make iced tea, no added sugar.

Once bought 2 pairs of pants. Same brand, same model, same size on the label. Two totally different fits. They were different colors but that was the only difference. They can't even maintain size standards in one company, let alone across the industry. Bras are even worse.

Try having a snack if you aren't snacking. My favorite snack is a Babybel cheese wheel (those cute little ones). I have almonds and a cup of tea with it. Usually works.

Well, yes and no on improvement from PT. Going up stairs better. Going down, no. Pain management better and overall small reduction in pain. However, next week I start PT for my back. It hurts more than my knees. Live past 50, they said. It will be fun, they said. 😊

I am not doing any sweeping resolutions this year. Will just do my best every day and try not to get discouraged.

I use the android app. Thanks for the input I guess we wait for the newsfeed to be fixed.

One reason I am glad I am not in an office environment right now...

My grandfather had fat loss on the feet. But he was in his 90s when it started.

Obviously I meant Good Luck but couldn't figure out how to change it.

Never heard of it. Is it solely on the UK? Please let us know. Hood luck!

This is where it can all go off the rails... But I know I have no real events except the holidays themselves so I will probably manage ok.

Uncle Mac, I can't figure out how to copy a link with my smartphone. Google Amazon.com DASH Diet for Weight loss Thomas Moore. When that page comes up scroll to product description and it will give you a ton of info about the diet, including a sample of a day's menu. The websites get confusing because different authors put…

It was originally developed to combat high blood pressure but they discovered it also had weight loss benefits. Really all it is is common sense. It tells you the amounts to eat based on your goals. Nothing is off the table to eat but you are supposed to really limit sugar and high fat/processed foods. For me, one day…

It sounds like a fun game as well as challenging.

This made me laugh. Despite it being October it is still rather summery here. Awaiting those crisp days...

Uncle Mac, I had great success with the DASH Diet in the past. Going back to,it.

It is quite popular at the retirement community my mom lives in, too. I never heard of it before. I hope you enjoy your community as much as she does hers.

Thanks, Farback. It already stalked this week! Not a surprise. No matter what diet I do, if I have a big loss one week my hips get scared and hold on tight. I am hoping to reach goal by next bikini season. So I have time for slowdowns and pitfalls.

Well it is going well so far. I am craving a cold Pepsi though. Lost 8 pounds the first week. I know it's water weight but still encouraging!

Just started up again after more fits than starts. Added in PT for my knee. I have to straighten myself out before I fully go to seed.

I am doing PT for my knees now. I may be able to push off replacement for more than the 3 years the surgeon estimated. I must lose weight, obviously, and move as much as possible. I have a decent anti inflammatory and my PT is going very well. But if I sit too long, I do end up feeling like the Tin Man in the Wizard of Oz…
