Most of the exercise I do is spinning, high intensity, and stretching or yoga on other days. I spin at least 4-5 days per week and use my Apple Watch to count calories.

I don’t feel comfortable sharing my diary because I have an eating disorder and it’s really triggering. I have been using measuring cups to measure, but I am going to start using a scale. Just a lot of this is triggering for me so it leads me to a binge. I just know I am eating way less than before and exercising and not…

Thank you, I do eat some of my calories and do my heart monitor for exercise specifically. I know it can be off but there’s no way it’s off by the 100s. I think I will talk to my doctor. Thank you.

In my post I said I am measuring and don’t ask me that lol

Oh another thing, I don’t eat all my fitness calories. Sometimes I eat half and then sometimes I don’t eat them at all.

Also thanks for the article. It was really helpful.

I do moderate to intense indoor cycling for 30-45 minutes and active calories show between 300-540 calories depending on time and intensity. For example, moderate to high intensity I burn about 350 active calories in 30 minutes. MFP overestimates so I change it to match what my watch says. Thanks for your help.

Sometimes I eat too much later in the day if I haven’t eaten enough throughout the day. Also I think your use of the word “can’t” is legit because it really doesn’t feel like a choice. If it’s emotional eating, I would recommend going to a therapist who specializes in disordered eating.

BMI is not a good indicator of health. If you feel healthy and your labs are healthy, you are healthy. BMI is BS.

I am worried about you. I have an eating disorder and I’m seeing a lot of the signs. Are you able to speak to a therapist?
-
This one does. How weird! I want to join the Larger Loser group but no button. 🤷🏻

I want to have the energy to be a GREAT teacher and not just a good one. I want to be able to stand most of the day, walk around, be confident, and have a long career.

My dietitian told me that diabetes is not so much caused by weight, but by lack of exercise. I do want to lose weight, but I am really focused on exercising right now because I am pre-diabetic.

Therapy has helped me a lot.

I have gained a lot due to chronic depression and a lot of stress from my job, my divorce, and my mother’s passing. Thanks for the motivation! Start weight: 246 First goal: 200 by summer 2021 Next goal: 170 however long it takes

See a therapist! I have binge eating disorder and it sounds like you might too.
-
Add me too! I have been in treatment for BED and purging and I’m trying to make sure my ED doesn’t get in the way of being healthy again.

I do measure foods and I have set all my goals. I think my metabolism is really messed up? I don’t know. Thank you for your help.

I would not recommend joining OA if you have Binge-Eating Disorder. It is a very restrictive program steeped in diet culture and can be really harmful.

Hi, are either of you doing this diet still? Would love to connect and chat about it!
