How to join a group

When I search for a group, there is no join button. I tried on the app and the website. Am I missing something?

  There should be a join button. Here's one with recent activity that shows me a join button: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/148-recipe-swap

  This one does. How weird! I want to join the Larger Loser group but no button. 🤷🏻
