Sodium intake... If you really want to notice a change in weight... You should cut down on your sodium... Even if you consume under the amount given... You will have water retention due to the amount. If you really want results... I'd cut it to 1,500 mg... That's just me though.

You can do it. If you make it through the first week...after that it's easy. It's the first week that's difficult.

What's your height and current weight? How long have you been on a diet plan? Can you open up your diary? Maybe you should log your foods with a food scale perhaps? It could be just water retention if it has been for awhile.

It's probably just water retention from the days you ate. Water retention can stay inside your body for up to three weeks before it disappears.

My guess is... You count calories to lose weight... However, once you achieved your goal people don't count calories which leads to weight gain... Is this what the article or study is trying to point out?

Well, obviously you are overeating if not maintaining. If you arent going to keep a proper record of your foods...just eat bananas, tofu, tomatoes, beef. Thats what I did because I got lazy with the food measuring and I lost over 10 kgs in over a month.

don't be too hard on yourself. i've done that before yet, I am still losing weight in the long run. Just get yourself back to your usual diet routine. Lost 10.1 kgs in 30 days which is about 22 lbs. It depends on what you eat, exercise, water, and current weight. During this 30 day time frame...i had fast foods, noodles, buffet, fried chicken, dumplings...but this only took up 5 days of the 30.
