There isn't a little icon in the editor that looks like a page with the corner turned? It's a poor choice for the option, but it's supposed to be an 'attachment' not just for images.

I think it's at least worth mentioning the artificial sweeteners, Dan. :) They're definitely an issue for a non-zero sum of us, and we LCers do like to arm ourselves with information!

Ha, you'd be welcome! :D

I'm catching up on my podcasts now, and then I'm going to try out Ketovangelist! Thanks Dan!

It's so funny isn't it? I walk right past that carbage without the signal ever reaching my brain that it's "food" and could be eaten. I thought maybe I was mentally blocking the table where people leave such things out to share, but when they put out the 15g of carb organic wasabi popcorn, I snagged a couple bags to take…

My chiropractor suggested a TRX system for home training. Might be something to look at if you're tired of body weight work (though it seems a little pricey to me, apparently it's great for variety).

A new wardrobe when I get to size 6 (what I expect to be at goal). :) But that's as much necessity as a treat!

I was not being sarcastic! Fundamentals are the key. <3 <3 <3 Totally!! I can't wait to post mine when I report in tomorrow! Thank you! The nice thing is that, other than not trusting the menus (braised ribs at Applebee's mean BREADED ribs, for example), I am mentally free from food. I know can enjoy the vacation without…

For me the secret was understanding WHY LCHF works. I tried it several times before and missed out on the good info about fat being our key energy source, and our levels of electrolytes needing some help. Every day was the keto flu, and many of them ended with a plate of warm Tollhouse cookies. I don't think I ever made it…

Started on February 23rd, 2015. Down 23.4 pounds. I know my loss isn't the dramatic number that many have seen, but it's been steady and reliable. I dropped dairy last month and saw an immediate additional loss. I have about 17 pounds to go before I consider myself at goal. Then I figure I'll probably add dairy back in to…

I'm aware of it when I see nutritional info on packaging, but I don't base my decisions around it. Carb cap is the primary, which I monitor through CONSTANT VIGILANCE (tracking everything on MFP and being wary of user-entered food data).

I'm going to be living much the same way (restaurant to mouth) for 11 days this month. I'll remember your words and that if I start to feel tempted that it means I'm already getting the carb creep, and that I don't need to help it along! Hope you recover quickly!

I was the primary cook, so EVERYONE ate LCHF at MY Thanksgiving table! My father added bread to his stuffing, but since he was out of bread of his choice, he used my husband's bread which is also relatively low carb, so he maybe only got about 5g of carbs out of that portion. HA! So I ate Turkey, Smoked Turkey, cranberry…

Survive 11 days with very little control over what goes into my food. Write every day. Ideally would like to get under 140 lbs by New years, but those 11 days...

Oof, my relationship with carbs is so screwed up that even considering that I might eat them leads to a binge plan. I'm just going to back away slowly.

Agreed! Even though I don't really need constant help maintaining this WOE, I love to check in and feel surrounded by so many people on the same path as me!
-
Cool, basically the same solid foundation work as November! Thumbs up! I'll be vacationing for two weeks of this month, surrounded by foods that will be beautiful and absolutely not keto-friendly. So Determined December has a whole other level for me! I'm not that worried about it, it'll just be a matter of whether I can…

Okay I'm so far behind I'm going to sum up 11/19 - 11/30: Once I was off work for the week starting 11/21, there were four days where my water was extremely low. Because of dehydration I did dip below 140, which was my monthly goal. So, yay? Except it was of course a dry sponge weight, so meh. I largely did not achieve my…

I was referring to the expectation I heard from some pseudo-professional or another that we ought to expect to have movements three or more times per day. If we didn't, the prescription was to consume more fiber. I bet they were really shilling for Big Agriculture if we follow the money, though. How much would we have to…

Glad it's something you can treat fairly quickly on your own!! It is Saturday, I'm beyond the "no booze" point but still being good.

Would definitely prefer to stay private.

LOL this thread has gotten difficult to read since they stopped auto-resizing our images! I want to see the pretty food, but I can't get it all on the screen at once! Dinner tonight is Original Bubba Burgers. Whatever toppings. Nothing fancy! :)

Awesome! That's a great feeling!

This has been me, too, for a long while. I keep making fat bombs for the other two people who eat LCHF in the house but I haven't 'needed' to grab one, even for tasting! (I hope they do taste as good as everyone claims...)
