when i run on a treadmill, i always put it at 1.0. when i walk on a treadmill i put it on 5.0 or 7.0 and walk at 4.0-4.5; just to give you an example; do what is difficult but do-able. walking keeps you in the lower fat burning zone. you can't spot reduce but you can DEFINE parts of your party by working them...people who row have more defined arms, etc. Running, Walking uphill, kickboxing, spinning all focus on leg muscles. And lifting heavier weights for legs. So fat will come from everywhere but those muscles will change appearance.

I have tried on many occasions to do videos, etc. at home, and it doesn't work for me. I need the gym. I do run outside by myself no problem though. Go figure!

I love the gym. It's my social outlet. I also get motivated seeing others work out.
