If you are trying to lose and you've said 2 lbs per week the minimum it'll give you is 1200 calories. How much weight have you said you want to lose/gain?

I was going to say "also a Southerner here" but wait nope; I am a couple of degrees above the equator. But I weigh my food in grams. I do use lbs for weight because I can lose "more" faster ;) And I use miles for walking because the numbers are not as high therefore not as daunting

@craigo3154 Thanks for sharing this. I don't have any health issue so sometimes it can seem abstract that weight is a major health risk. It would barely be noticeable I think. I don't necessarily feel hungrier before TOM, but I am definitely more tired during. No I don't log that "increase". I have lost weight before and over a long enough period it averaged to what was expected

Isn't that annoying! :D I actually don't log my exercise on MFP - I walk less than 3 miles usually so it's not much in terms of calories. Sometimes I'll only log just enough minutes to "stay" under my calories, lol

How much are you set to lose per week? If you are set to lose like 0.5 lbs per week, your loss could well be hidden in the normal day to day weight variations. When you say your weight has been "around the same" it means not exactly the same… Do you use a trend app? Is it trending down even by just a little bit?

FitnessBlender (on YouTube as many people have said) have lots of videos with dumbbells, some with exercise balls. I haven't checked for resistance band because I don't have those but it's totally possible they have that as well.

Maybe they have very active lifestyles and don't need to "exercise". Unless you are a gym owner, the fact that people exercise outside of a gym shouldn't be shocking
