  • I've been having similar symptoms for almost 2 years now, and I've also had almost every test under the sun - blood tests, several ECG's, wore a Holter monitor for a week etc. I'm constantly exhausted and cold, get dizziness every time I stand, legs tremble and shake and have blacked out several times. I'm currently being…
  • Whittards! They've really taken off with their loose teas and they have both basic and pretty strainers :)
  • One of the ladies I work with told me that a nutritionist advised her 72 year old mother that she should stop walking because it wasn't "proper excercise" and should start running instead. I wasn't suprised that she walked out and didn't go back!
  • Well done you!! That is awesome
  • One of my favourites is quark (which is basically pure protein) with a light Digestive biscuit (or Graham cracker if you're in the US!), it tastes as close to a cheesecake as you can get for the calories! Would be extra yum with melted chocolate on top :) I actually made a cheesecake using a mixture of 0% fat greek yoghurt…
  • I was absolutely convinced that clothing sizes were shrinking and clothes weren't 'made the way they used to be'.... even went as far as telling myself that the UK size 20 shirt that didn't do up was definitely down to the sizing being wrong... funny how clothes sizes do work properly now that extra 65lbs has gone!
  • Yes!! I hardly know anyone that has even heard of quark, let alone eats it!! I have it most mornings in place of Greek yoghurt - either with just a touch of jam to sweeten it up or a serving of protein granola for a protein boost . I'm in the UK and buy ASDA'S fat free one - would highly recommend :)
  • Danio are amazing! Really high in protein, 0% fat (if you don't have the peach one anyway) and they have a lovely fruit layer at the bottom. If not there's arla protein -(which is technically quark) but has 20g of protein per pot and are around 140 calories each :)
  • I've managed both before on a 1200 calorie day... as long as you don't choose a curry that's got loads of sauce (I find tandoori are the lowest calorie options with the most flavour) or sushi rolls with mayo (I find simple veg ones are lowest too, also gives a nice cruncj) then you should be fine... btw I am from the UK…
  • I'm not sure which other countries do them but here in the UK we have these crisp type things called Pom Bears - they're gluten free as they're potato snacks and average at 95 cals a pack :)
