Welcome. 35 (almost 36) dad of 2. Lost 50+ lbs with this application. My advice is set a lot of small goals no matter how meaningless they seem, be steadfast and don't let one mistake ruin anything, don't be shy about your goals talk about it so people keep you accountable. Also write down goals and progress in some way so…

Just what niner buff said. Small goals make big ones more manageable. Be in for the long haul and don't expect instant results. Be steadfast. Maybe start a blog and have it keep you accountable If you want to see my story or advice check out my blog www.averagejoefit.net

Sorry I did miss that. I read it is promise, but some times my dyslexia bites me. That was what I was suggesting which you are already doing. Only other advice give it time or have a doc check your blood work just in case.

I had this whole thing ready to say but it was already said by niner buff. Small goals make life easier, stay the course, don't let one bad meal or day ruin anything as long g as its rare and try and have some fun too. I have started a blog to keep me accountable and to write down what I have learned. You can try that too.…

Are you gaining muscle? What kind of workouts are you doing? Are you eating those exercise calories? Are you tracking accurately? More info needed please.

I lost and gained 20+ pounds more often then I would life to imagine. Falling off the weight loss bandwagon is easy and I found that I finally was able to lose the weight and keep it off by taking the show and steady approach. Is 2 lbs a week possible? Yes but as someone who was like you many more times and is now…

A couple of other ideas that might help. Try mixing up your macro's. My wife has found that she hasaid to eat low high carbon for a week once a month in order to keep her body from plateauing. Also try cyclical dieting for a month and see if that works. Cyclical dieting is where you diet 5 days then eat maintenence…

Get a good digital food scale. Weighing is better then measuring imo. Plus it sends like you get more food. Log and weigh everything.

Everything that people have said above plus I found having a lot of little goals to check of along the way makes things easier. If you want my whole story and advise you could check out my blog. www.averagejoefit.net

50 - 60 pounds by summer is kinda setting yourself up for failure. Fyi. The healthy way to lose weight is 1 lbs a week. It took me almost a year to lose 50 lbs. You can do it but don't expect to much to fast. If you want advice or to see how I did it you can check out my blog. www.averagejoefit.net

Also make sure you are working out your other muscles in your legs. Just running can creat an imbalance in strength. You need to also do focus work on your quads as well. Also check your running form too. Knees under your torso at all times. Look at your running shoes do you have uneven wear on the bottom. All things that…

I'm the opposite of silver. For weights I only have coffee with almond milk. Cardio or my runs I have breakfast with combo carbs and prot. Plus coffee with almond milk.

I have done one and am planning on more. The obsticals are fairly upper body heavy. As far as running hills or trail running is important. The shorter ones don't worry too much about distence over 3 miles you won't be running that far with out an obstical. I do upper body strength training 3 days a week then trail running…

You can add me. I have some variety but don't expect insperational posts from me sorry Also I'm maintaining so my calorie count might be to high for some dieters.

I have done 1 OCR in the past and this is what I did. I felt great the whole time as well. I noticed a lot of people walking during the race so there is no shame to that either. 3 days a week I run 1 mile do pushups, bur pees, body weight squats, pull ups, crunches and then go run another mile. Just start with 2 rotations…

It took me about a year to lose all the weight. I did insanity 2 full cycles and then took a little break from excersize due to injuries. I then did t25 for a while and went back to Insanity as o got better results with full insanity.

I was 260 lbs when I started Insanity 188 lbs this morning. It is a great workout. Don't worry about stopping. I used to stop almost every excersize. I still do the second month workouts today abs still have to take breaks occasionally. Stay strong and Thursday is a break day and it will make you feel better after doing it.

I know this is off the subject but what is WOO?

I watched it long before this person recommended it. It breaks down neutrition very nicely. Ever wonder what your macros should be or why you should pay attention to them? Watch number 1 or number 2 for kcal and macros. Watch 3 for nutrition things. Watch 4 for supliment stuff. It's a good watch if you are new and want to…

I'm a big fan of starting slow and I think you are doing the right things. For weight loss it's more about diet then excersize. Stay in a calorie deficit and you will lose weight. If you are looking for more strength you could add in pushups, lunges and body weight squats.

Here this is what you are looking for. p90x Chest and Back: pushups and pull ups galore. Three dumbell excersizes that work back. P90x back and biceps: double arm curls then a pullups excersize. Dumbells and pullup bar P90x shoulders arms: flys, curls with some pushups. Dumbells and stands P90x chest bicep tricep: curls,…

If you don't want to go to a gym p90x will help you build muscle. If your home gym is equipped for it you can build muscle with p90x. I did a combo of p90x and insanity for 2 months. It worked I have built a lot of bulk that I didn't have before.
-
My April was successful. I stayed under 190 lbs. My Insanity p90x combo experiment was successful. I belive that combo is great for overall fitness. I'm stI'll working hard as ever. Cheers

I'm still here lurking. I did p90x3 the challenge today. DAMN. 100+ pull ups and push ups and my shoulders are still sore hours later. I tried to take a week off after my newest was born. Made it three days. Worked out thursday-Sunday instead. Still working out here and trying to cut some weight too. We will see how it…
