Nice job. How was it?

Today was my last day of this workout experiment. It was a combo insanity 3 days a week p90x two days a week rotation. I feel the it worked fairly well. The weight creeps starting to vex me, but it could be muscle. After a rest week I'll be starting a p90x3 insanity max 30 combo that I have come up with. Let's see how that…

Go you. I'll be doing my first Spartan Race in Aug. Let us know how it goes.
-
Yes it's hard, but just take it slow and you will get where you want to be. It's a marathon and not a sprint. Slow and steady wins the race.

I have read some articles that it can take some women 6 months for thier hormones to go totally back to normal. (Part of my job) I think you should take it slow and be patient. There are also questions I have like are you breast feeding? You don't want to cut to many calories if you are your milk might dry up. Excersize?…

:( sorry

Trifecta is just doing all three distences in one year. So i am of the opinion that if you do a beast it is all downhill from there. I'm doing the Trifecta next year on the westcoast. Super in April, Sprint in August and Beast in October. I'm so freaking excited
-
Holy cow you are starting with a Beast. Go you. You might as well try for the Trifecta since the beast is the longest. I'm not one that side of the country I would sign up with you. Good luck and have fun

Of course by the time I read Beth's post I couldn't change the title. Grr. Anyway if anyone wants to friend me you can totally.

Monday: Weight: 188.9 lbs Workout: Insanity Max Cardio Circuit My two month experiment is almost done. I think the workout schedule is solid, but the cutting calories 3 days a week didn't change my weight in any meaningful way. It was worth a try.
-
Yea I am considering it. I'm still over weight according to BMI. So i could lose a 10 - 15 lbs still. I'm going to continue on my current plan to finish out the month. I planned out the month of April as an experiment month. So I'll keep it up for one more week and adjust next month. Thank you all for the replies. Still…

Thanks for the input. I'm kinda embarrassed about posting the photos but I wanted opinions. Losing weight is one thing being comfortable in your body is another thing entirely.
-
I had a clear set goal to lose the weight and then keep it off for 3 - 4 months. That time frame happened to be my birthday month. I took all my old clothes to Goodwill and did a giant bing shopping. I spent an *kitten* load to totally replace my wardrobe, but it makes my closet look very clean and organized. Otherwise my…

I just got an Aria scale so I have only tracked like two weigh ins. It is my goal to recomp which is significantly harder then just losing weight.
-
Insanity max plyo done. You would think song 200+ pushups a week they would get easier. Alas they still kick my butt. Staying on track with calories though. My weight seems to be creeping up. I might have to start cutting more then 250 calories 3 times a week.

Weight:190 lbs even My workout today was p90x chest, shoulders and triceps. Boy was it ruff. I worked out until my arms failed . I about fell on my face a few times or dropped a weight on the ground a few times. The cooldown stretch my arms were shaking so bad it made me laugh. Only can do one more week and then my wife…

My workout today was Insanity Max Cardio Circuit. It was a little ruff, but not to bad today. I'm going to continue to cut 250 calories out from my diet on cardio days to see if I can lose a few pounds I put back on. We shall see if it works or will I continue to make the scale go up.
-
I don't mind. You are talking to a guy that groans grunts and even yells sometimes when I work out
-
Did p90x Back & Biceps Tuesday. I'm still going strong on everything else. Body recomposition is long and arduous, but I'm still working on it
-
Forgot my fitbit for half of the day so my stats suck :(

I got very busy so I didn't post anything the last few days. Weight: 190.3lbs (A little over what I like, but I'm not stressed) Workouts: Thursday p90x Legs and Back, Friday Insanity Max Cardio Circuit. Saturday and Sunday I work all day so I don't workout. Calories: I have been taking 250 calories off 3 days a week, but I…

Day 2 I don't weight every day. Calories: 2520 maintenance. Excersize: p90x Chest and Back. After all the push ups yesterdays Insanity max plyo it made today RUFF. My pull ups still suck and I can only do one or two unassisted. Food today is so far easy. Already planned out dessert and still have 1k calories for dinner.…
-
Yea it's the hardest one in my opinion. 92 of the 96 pushups on the level 3 drills. I'm happy I couldn't do that last week.
-
I am always wearing my fitbit, but I don't go out of my way to get steps anymore. I'm game though :-D

Day 1 for me: Weight: 188.7 lbs (maitence under 190) Workout: Insanity Max Interval Plyo 60 min. Calories: I'm trying a new plan of being 250 under maitence calories on cardio days. 2250 Calories. Goal: Body recomposition gain muscle while staying under 190 lbs. Cheers

Insanity is very cardio centric. If you want to lose weight this will work. P90x is very weight centric. It doesn't have much cardio, but you will build a lot of muscle. I havn't done p90x3 yet. I have it but will try it next month. If you message me I can let you know.

I haven't done insanity max 30, but insanity is very cardio intense. I think you have a good plan. Maybe start slow but give it a try.

I personally don't like the idea of cheat days. I have failed at losing weight to many times because of cheat days. The most recent and successful time that I was able to lose weight I did a rotation diet. 5 days a week you cut out 500 calories from your diet and the 2 days a week you eat maitence. It always makes it seem…
