  • I don't use a bunch of supliments or anything like that. Breakfast: 2 cups reduced sugar vanilla almond milk, 2 cups coffee, 2 servings of special k protein cereal. Workout If I do a hardcore workout I drunk ARM lime. It is the only supliment I use. If it was a laid back workout I drink Gatorade on cardio or muscle milk…
  • I am also in maintenance mode. I'm am currently trying to recomp. It is tough and after my birthday the scale has gone up to my upper limit. So this week I am cutting out 500 calories for three days in order to get away from that limit. I am currently neck deep in a Insanity/p90x combo workout. I am doing month 2 of…
  • After cardio you need more carbs. After weights protein. So for a cycle class which is more cardio maybe a small bowl of healthy cereal or something.
  • Special k protein cereal, 2 cups reduced sugar vanilla almond milk, 2 cups coffee.
  • I lost 50 lbs doing Insanity. I did 2 full rotations and then took a break and am doing it again.
  • What is your calorie count like? I was hard core working out and cutting calories and I started to have similar symptoms. I found I was in kytosis. Basically stavation mode. I had to up my calories for a week and it went away.
  • I have threw sets. Insanity is Cardio circuit training, pushups and lots of jumping. T25 same as above just shorter. No stretching. P90x weight lifting needs lots of equipment to do it. Less cardio more muscle work. There are also you tube videos that are free that work too. Look around I'm sure you can find something
  • I love inanity. The second max is far from easy. The longer workouts can be ruff and the worst is Level 3 Drills. Level 3 Drills = Pain
  • I had to manually update my goals before it would lower my daily amount. Every time
  • How diligent are you on weighing your food? Are you for sure in deficit? How about excersize? Could you be gaining muscle and losing fat? More info is helpfull
  • One of the ways you can also tell is to pinch the area. Fat is sensitive and if you pinch it just a little it will hurt. Skin is much less sensitive and you have to pinch it really really hard before it hurts. Also skin will pull away from the muscle easier then fat will. I have a lot of loose skin on my arms and inner…
  • Personally you sound like you are in the zone you should be. If you are being diligent about weighing food and exercising you should be darn close to 20 lbs by June (if that's when graduation is).
  • That's a great idea. I did the same. Lots of small goals that led to the big one. Good luck :)
  • I love this idea is great, but I have been doing Insanity for over a year. I would be the best one to join other then experience. Get ready for a great workout.
  • Fitbit sync can be finicky at times. The best thing I got for you is open fitbit dash sync for fit bit then open mfp. It works for be some times
  • My wife also isn't dieting, but she is supportive of my life style change. Maybe ask her to hide the goodies and things that you have trouble with. I also let my wife have her fast food, but I just don't go with her. She eats it there and I eat at home my stuff. It works for us just fine. I hippie out works out for you.…
  • I still log my calories, but I don't give a flying f ant them. It's your birthday have a blast and just continue on like usual the day after.
  • Well if you are eating all of your excersize calories back and you are basing those on your fit bit it isn't 100% accurate. I have a fit bit charge hr and I have been in maitence calories for 5 months now and I have never eaten all the calories the fit bit says I can eat. You might be losing fat and gaining muscle even…
  • I'm sorry, but what do you mean by clean eating? That has a whole lot of things it could be. I eat under my calories and loss or rest maitence calories and stay. I don't eat organic, vegan or even vegetarian. I hope that helps.
  • Stay strong. Maybe evaluate what you are eating. Maybe more protein or more carbs. A healthy weight loss is averaging 1 to 1.5 pounds a week. You are doing fine.
  • There is directions on the fitbit website.
  • The other muscle milks. If you look at the normal muscle milk or some of the flavored muscle milks they have a ton of sugar.
  • I occasionally drink the muscle milk light that I can get a case of from Costco. It has less sugar then the others
  • Good carbs are things like whole grains, barley, whole wheat pasta etc. With out knowing how much over I can't say a lot more. Some diets call for little carbs so I don't think it's super unhealthy to be low on carbs. I belive in the moderation method. Everything in moderation and not to extreme, but that's me.
  • Do you have to have a good fitness level to do Insanity Max 30?[/quote] The thing I like to say about insanity and insanity max 30 is that if you just watch the videos the people in them can't do the whole thing with out taking breaks. The thing that works is that you keep it up. I went from not working out in years to…
  • Basically what everyone else is saying. I have been at my goal weight fir 5 months now and I am now working on body recomposition. You sounds like you are doing what I want just you didn't intend to do it. Congrats on the progress though and stay strong.
  • You can Google the workout schedule and go to images. The Diet booklet that came with it is very meh. I would rather just count calories normally. The first month excersizes are 30-45 min in length. The second month or Max ones are 50-60 min in length. The second month is where the weight really comes off.
  • There are a bunch of free videos in you tube. There are also excersize videos you can buy from a lot of different companies like Beachbody.com or something. My four year old works out with me doing Insanity and it cracks me up. It lighten ups my working out.
  • I lost 50 lbs doing Insanity and logging my food in MFP. I lost the weight over 9 months. It ended up being 1.25 lbs a week. Insanity works if you are diligent with your calories and doing the workout.
  • From the separate websites I have read you should track food in MFP and excersize in fitbit. That's just what I read. Of course I'm assuming that you have fitbit and MFP connected.
