  • Ha yeah a week! No I totally get where you're coming from- like I said just having a bit of an internal struggle at the moment. I'm sure tomorrow is a new day etc. It's not that I don't know what needs to be done it's just the doing bit :-)
  • Yep this- thanks for the dose of reality :-)
  • I walk around 12000 steps every day and lift weights 3x a day- I really don't think that the issue is my exercise or what my calories are set at its my massive gob :'(
  • Ooo I lost most of my post! Yeah so I don't snack in the evening or anything - just during the day. I've just been on the eating crap train lately! It was a bank holiday weekend just gone and you know....life :-/ maybe tomorrow I will have my head in gear to avoid m&s at lunch time!
  • Thanks guys!! I'm hoping this insatiable sweet tooth I have at the moment will calm down a bit! I've started taking a few precautions like- buying snacks - keeping them at home and only taking ONE into work
  • Indeed :D my issue is I love everything- chocolate, Veggies, fruit, yogurt and I can eat anything and in huge portions all the time- I'm just annoyed today that I can't just be happy with just a bit of something and not a load!
  • Yeah- stupid chocolate and sweets- that's the thing. I love em I go through phases where I'm ok with not eating that much crap and other times when I want it all the time- there's no excuse I just want all of the food ever! :D
  • Haha - I'm glad you feel my pain too!! I think I'm just a bit hormonal and ranty but I'm so annoyed at my appetite! It's like I'm never full and always wanting to eat. My weight has gone up and down a bit but I'm always around the 154 mark- it's like my appetite won't let me get any thinner! I'm trying at the moment to not…
  • Hi! I've thought about it and tried some organic raw ones with no dairy and well, let's just say they had a very strong laxative effect!
  • I'm at about 1550 cala a day- however I would say I go over that on the weekend. I'm pretty slack with logging at the moment (which yeah isn't great) but I really don't think that being in deficit is an issue. If anything I'm really struggling with my appetite at the moment. I wonder if that's due to so much blood loss (or…
  • Ah- got a nut allergy - have to carry an epi pen :/
  • And yes i know, I'm a pain in the *kitten*! That's why I just try and get my calories in rather than looking at other stuff, other wise I just freak out!
  • Thanks- I really really struggle with getting protein - I can't eat very much meat due to a bowel problem, I know about lentils, beans etc but belive me when I tell you I am the worst cook ever, I once cooked a dogs toenail into an omelette, so I find that difficult too, fish is really expensive. I'm totally into fat free…
  • I have uc- diagnosed about a year ago- never been oit of my flare except for about a month after intense treatment.last summer I spent two weeks in hospital and requested to see a dietician who told me that it was so far down my colon that it didn't matter what I ate- helpful!!! I find that keeping away from processed…
  • I really feel your pain- I have UC and when I started exercising I was constantly worrying about something terrible happening!! Unfortunately is one of the things I've learnt is that everyone is different in what they can and can't tolerate. All the bumph says to stay away from fruit and veg because of the fibre but I find…
  • Ok thanks guys! Yeah I'm pretty active so I don't see the point in logging walking and things I only log what I do as intentional exercise but wasn't sure what to set my TDEE as or if I think I'm fairly active but am actually sedentary. I'll look into it anyway. Thanks!
  • I have avocado on toast- ok it isn't a salad but it's like a really yummy treat! Either that or on oatcakes

  • Thanks guys there are some great ideas there! I do a bit of the goblet squat now - I'll just add a few of the other suggestions in too so it doesn't get samey
  • Thanks for the info guys! It's bizarre! I was nearly sick twice just on my induction- the pt made me run for three minutes and I had to stop, it was so cringe, I keep water with me and just sip it no gulping etc and am generally one of the most well watered people I know! - I'm on holiday from work at the moment so just…
