I located my Polar F6 and it needs a new battery so I'm taking it with me to visit the jeweler when I'm at work tomorrow. I'm excited to get a more accurate reading on my workouts again!

Muery, dog walking counts! I'm so excited -we're getting a puppy in May. My first as an adult that will be all mine!

I work best on 9 hours of sleep a night. Not that it happens all the time, but less than 8 hours and things start going downhill quickly. 7 hours? You're pushing it. 6 hours...all those around me better run for their lives.

Muery, the body bug reminds me of using my fit bit to track my sleep at night. I think i woke up more, stressing about if i was sleeping well enough. Lol

Ok, you guys have convinced me. I'm going to dig out my polar and make sure the batteries are good. Chrisi, the Apple watch looks so interesting! Morty, I love my Garmin for it's GPS and how it tracks the mileage for me. I should be heading outdoors more. B)

Chrisi and Morty, WELCOME! You are both very inspiring to me! I feel ashamed at how much I've let a sinus infection derail me, or how much I'll let just "being tired" push me around. You too are overcoming quite the challenges, but you're pushing through and doing it. That's exciting!!

Bookworm, I hear ya. Mine is very supportive and would kick me out of bed if I asked him too but if I even slightly whimpered that I was tired, he would insist I stay in bed and get more sleep. lol!

Exactly! I agree 100% yet in very special and can still try and talk myself out of it. Haha! Other than it being a habit already, i could have written that for the exact same reasons. I told myself this morning, in fact, that i don't have to dread or find time to work out after work. Yay!

Heather, hi and welcome! Have you actually signed up for the half yet? That might do it. Also, I've tried everything else like sleeping in my workout clothes, moving my phone/alarm in to the other room. Accountability is what works for me!

Shorthand, the tlam programs all have an "own it" version for their programs too. Their marathon program made my eyes bug out just looking at it.

Yeah Bill, I bet you don't mind. Lol i always got a kick out of the men that would come to Zumba class. Brave! I think my husband would goof off too much and get kicked out. He's lucky his group of friends doesn't kicked out of the weights room.haha!
