Bookworm, sounds like a good plan. That's really cool that the hubby is working out with you! I have two mornings in a row now that I've worked out. Kuddos today since I didn't sleep well and didn't want to work out, but I did anyway and I don't regret it!

Bookworm, those look really cool! Are you loving them?

Hoya, great news. Walking is still really great exercise and a place holder so you don't go sedentary. ...like i would most likely do. Lol
-
Bookworm, ty, she's a weimeraner. She's amazing! What kind of adjustable weights? That's exciting! I would be stalking the mail too. Lol

Way to go Holly! Hawaii is getting close! !!

Hi! I'm alive! The other good news besides not being dead is that we have a new puppy! She is 9 weeks old and we are getting very little sleep right now. I could easily snag a part as an extra on the walking dead as a zombie. I'm sorry I've been mia!

Ackkk! I'm balancing spinning plates today. I ran yesterday after work and before a school meeting. Slept in today and no time to workout before another school meeting tonight. Doing what I can. I ordered this book and it gets here tomorrow. amazon.com/What-You-Can-When-Healthy/dp/1580055737 Bookworm, your Dr Pepper…

Holly, roger that. HAHA! Did you get it? My lame attempt for responding with a military term and trying to be funny. In all seriousness, God bless you and your husband!! I'm taking a rest day. My fitbit logged almost 9 hours of sleep for me. So yay!

Love the tank, bookworm! Good going Holly, Bill, and Bookworm! Holly, I take those too! I did body revolution workout 4 today. My polar is still reading off the charts. 482 calories for a 34 minute workout? I was not throwing up or near it at any point, so that burn can not be accurate. lol!

Holly, no need to apologize at all. At ALL! we are all going to get busy, get bummed, get down from time to time, but we will be here when we can to support and encourage. I like what you wrote about not starting over or waiting for the next day. You reminded me of something i heard, "Do the next right thing, right now. "

Yes bookworm! I hope your dad is on the men's now along with all the family's frayed nerves.

Has anyone heard of Wildly Alive Weight Loss, Nichole Kellerman Wurth? She's a little fire cracker coach that helps people deal with emotional eating. I've done some of her free trainings and they have been really helpful. I've gone through professional counseling, years ago when I lost the bulk of my weight (75 pounds).…

Holly, how was BR workout 4? I haven't done it yet. I was going to do it this morning along with running, but I stuck to running on the treadmill so I could watch Gilmore Girls. It was the only way a workout was going to happen this morning. I stayed up too late and didn't sleep well (stressing over college stuff with my…

Topaz, on a good day, i can eat an entire package of granola. I can't keep it in the house! I'm an emotional eater too so my heart really goes out to you. Recently I've been learning not to hate my emotions but to acknowledge them and my cravings and try to figure out what my body really wants...more sleep, a bath, a…

Way to go Bill!!!

Omg, I almost laughed out loud, but I'm at work. That is funny! Men rarely know the perfect thing to say to women but their heart is usually golden with intentions. I'm with you on training the back of the body. Love it much better than the front!

Hoya, sounds amazing! ! Way to reward yourself with a great run and make up for the less than stellar run.
-
Will be thinking of you and your dad. I bet they see a lot weirder things than someone doing squats at the hospital. Lol
-
Hi guys! I've had a bit of a bump in the road with motivation. HAD is good though because I'm trying to build on what I've got going now. I know that sounds very vague. I just got down on myself for slipping up. I just got done with Body Revolution workout 3. Whoa! It WILL get easier. It WILL get easier! lol! Now I'm about…

Ty Bill, yes they are both ok. Just makes me thankful again how great orurhealth is! And why it's important to keep exercising! !

Hi hi! On my phone so I'll make this short and sweet until later. No workout this morning in lieu of sleep. I took my husband to the emergency walk in due to him opening the car door into his face, really hard. He's fine other than a black and very sore eye And some cuts. I took care of him and then my 18 year old got sick…

Bumping this back up to the top so we'll see it better. Is everyone getting some great weather where they live? I think it's great for encouraging more activity!
-
Bookworm, keep us posted as it gets closer. Bill, I think we all go through the same phases. I know I do! I'm glad you're still here!
-
Hoya, I'm so sorry for your family and your loss. The April challenge kind of fizzled out and that was totally my fault for not really knowing how to run one. We're still checking in of course!! If you have some great ideas for a challenge, let us know!!
-
Loving all of your workouts! Especially Bookworm's hubby working out with you. That's awesome! I made a thread for today, May 5th going through next Monday. Sorry that didn't happen sooner.

Bookworm, are you starting something new at the end of May? The fitness group sounds interesting. I'll check it out. Thank you for the disclosure. I'm not a fan of obnoxious BB coaches but if they aren't pushy, I have no issues. (I was even one at one point!)lol!
