With 1.5 inch thick chops, you can fry them fat side down with no oil in the pan first(they should be able to stay vertical at 1.5 inches), then and sear them in the pork fat that renders out. They will probably need to finish in the oven if you like pork all the way done. Can do that with skin-on chicken thighs too.

For chicken thighs/breasts/chops I cut out the bones before cooking and weigh the meat. I put the bones away in a freezer bag for making stock. For something like pork ribs, I weigh the whole piece before and weigh the remaining bones after.

I have 4 scallop squash(two were savaged by worms,but still holding on), two tomatos, two ghost peppers, 3 scotch bonnets, a habanero, 2 thai peppers, 3 criolla sella peppers, 3 swiss chards, 3 kales, 2 kai lan, 2 green apple eggplants, three 8ft rows of green beans(pretty much done for the season) and a bunch of herbs.…

Basil chicken is pretty low calorie if you eat about half the rice. I grow thai basil and make it at home for around 450ish calories including a small amount of rice, at a restaurant I'd guess it's about 300 or so more(larger portions of everything)

I'm 5'1" and lost about 116 lbs since Jan 2013. Not a success yet, I'm still 45lbs above "healthy" bmi(not that bmi matters much anyway) and I'm still wearing plus size clothes.

Neither pic is very good and there are only 2-3 photos that exist of me that big. The first pic is around 294lbs and the second is 178. I am 5'1"

The produce is iffy sometimes at my walmart, and their meat prices are higher than the sales at kroger or meijer for the most part. I usually just buy stuff from the non grocery sections.

Black drip coffee, or 2 shots of espresso with a half tsp of dark cocoa powder and heated cashew milk, no sweetener. I hated black coffee until I started buying decent beans and a good grinder.

They have 3lb bags of smaller sweet potatoes (between 140-210g or so) there that I like to buy. I get canned tomatoes, broth, bacon, meat and produce there too.

At my heaviest I was close to 300, wearing size 26 jeans and 3 and 4x shirts. I'm 5'1", and at 191 I wear 20 jeans and 2x shirts. It feels like I'll need to get to at least 150 to get out of the plus size range, even with being short and having tiny boobs. Small or medium seems impossible.
