I'm also experiencing a stall, sort of. I initially lost ten ponds the first three weeks. And now two weeks later, I'm actually up a half pound. Last week was my TOM,so I thought that's why. But I was disappointed to say the least, when I jumped on the scale for my weekly way in, only to see it hadn't budged. I know I'm…

January 1st2016-SW: 180.5 Today-CW: 169.5!!!! GW: 166 by January 28th. Ultimate GW by mid June will be 135lbs. I'm going by the KetoEvangalist 21day plus 21 days start. So six weeks. He said to have no cheats until at least the end of those two cycles. I have had a glass of red wine occasionally in the past three weeks,…

I've been adding lemon to the already copious amounts of water and it seems to help. That and limiting dairy before work. That's what seems to make it really bad

I cook for my family, and they haven't conformed to my keto life style. But I also work as a waitress and constantly fight to not eat various foods, especially the French fries, which are my be all end all bad food I adore.

Ok, I'm back after a major F up for the holidays. I initially lost more than 10lbs in keto in just two weeks. Then the holidays and a huge upheaval in my marriage commenced. And I gave up. I'm now on my 15th day of keto. I've only lost 5lbs this time. But I'm ok with that. I'm starting a new job today and my marriage still…

I did the same thing with a chili relleno yesterday. Didn't realize the flour they added to the egg coating, or the sauce to thicken it. The recipes I searched varied from17-27carbs! In my head I thought chili pepper, cheese, eggs, and sugarless sauce=

Well I'm sitting with my legs shaking from a 6 1/2 mile hike. Almost all uphill. I ran down. I needed to clock some cardio, my one cheat I had planned (12/11 work Christmas party) rolled into another cheat dinner the next night

I started keto Nov.28th. It's only been two weeks and I've lost 13lbs. 180lbs, to now 167lbs. It's that initial water weight, I know. But it's exciting. My pants are looser. And I'm not hungry! Yay! I struggle to eat my full 1500. Which is unheard for me. I can plow through some food!

I just wanted to say 10 days in and I feel amazing, waking up isn't hard, like usual

Bacon fat, with chopped bacon and garlic and salt and pepper! I roast it first with olive oil, then scrape it, and mix in above ingredients. You can thank me later

I make tea every night since giving up my daily wine since starting keto. Last night I added butter and half&half, with stevia. It was so good. Rich. Sweet, nom nom

I am sticking to 1545 calories per day. That's a 20% cut from my TDEE. So I should consistently lose as long as I'm changing my intake as I lose. I'm just happy I'm not starving. I tried 1600 calories a day before and I was starving after a bowl of oatmeal or whatever salad with protein I ate.

I am doing 19-22g of carbs. Not net. The whole shabang. I figure this first week is mostly water. But it is motivational. I feel like I'm doing something wrong though. Usually when I cut out sugar or diet or anything, I'm starving and food is all I can think about. That's not the case with this Ketogenic diet. I've done…

My first week on keto was great. I hit 19-22g of carbs per day. I didn't get the keto flu. I did get one headache but it stopped with salty eggs. I met most of my goals. I lost 4lbs though I know it's water. Here's to a new weekly goal! My start weight:178lbs Current Weight: 174lbs Carbs:6% or less Calories:1550…

One week of holding to keto strong, I'm then going to reward myself with hiking lol. I'm trying not to focus on the pounds, because it emotionally messes with me and I give up. So my goal is to adhere to my weekly plan. Week by week, day by day. And I'll get to hike all by myself, atop my favorite mountains, no kids, no…

I loved that scale point. My scale is reflecting what happened two weeks ago?! Of course! It all makes sense! Why didn't I think of it that way! Loved this!

This was all so helpful thank you!

Would kosher salt supplement that for me? I'm not sure if the body recognizes that differently that iodized table salt or sea salt, or that pink salt everyone raves about. Or is salt just salt?

Ok, my first real attempt at getting my weight under control in at least a year. My goals this month are to not gain weight and possibly lose some. Like 5lbs? I'm doing the Ketogenic diet, today is my third day. I am also doing hiking and kickboxing. I want to feel better about my daily habits with my body. I've drank too…

What a great idea!! Binging is why I haven't lost any weight in over a year!! I'll be perfect for five or six days and my cheat days turn into a 4000 calorie binge fest that completely negates any progress. This is great. I'm in!!

I remember my 20s when I'd "watch" what I ate, changed to "lite" beer, worked out 20min a day, and lost 89lbs in a year. Now it's complicated weighing, measuring, logging, and macro this and micro that. *kitten* I know it's worth it but damn it's so much harder than I ever thought

I love this! Thank you for sharing!!! Crap... That's a huge eye opener!!

I opened it*cringe*

If you've exercised to the point of building muscle mass which I suspect you have, you're making a need for more calories than before. Your muscles consume more calories than fat, so essentially you have more consumers of these calories and at your activity level it wouldn't be a problem to add 150-200 calories in mostly…

I'm in. I'd really like to lose 10lbs or more by July 8th. My sons second birthday. My pregnancy with him is why I gained 87lbs. I gained 80-90 lbs with each baby, but usually lose it within a year to 18months. But then my thirties happend... And now I've only managed to lose 50lbs since his birth. I keep gaining and…

I'm actually really anxious about this weekends plan of attack. My weekends are usually quite different from my week days as well. Unfortunately, I've found my weekends have caused me to completely stall on any weight loss for over a year!!! Seriously! However, thanks to some threads here, and MFP, I was really able to see…
