Whatever you had for dinner the night before. Put it in a plastic container and heat it in the microwave when you're ready to eat.

Occasionally, I'll want to eat very low-calorie, high protein for most of the day so I can have a cheat (say, a muffin or a sandwich) and still not go over. I assume this is bad, both physiologically and psychologically. Why?

I don't eat back my exercise calories. I was running for awhile but I had to stop because of knee injuries and I'm still looking for a way to exercise hard that won't cause further damage.
