Went to my fav clothing store today, walked out with four tops in SM size! Okay, in this store SM means size 18 (NZ & Aus sizing) but hey, that 4 sizes down from what I normally buy there. Very pleased

@kmn118 - its just nice to know we are not alone in our 'strangeness' :)

I posted this on another thread but I will share here also. Today, day 4 of no dairy (6 weeks into keto) my ketostix went from middle pink to dark pink! Yay! I'm thinking it must be the dairy ... Which now im thinking about it... is a shame as I should probably stay off dairy as much as possible. Today I have done up 4…

@Cadori - great idea thanks, I will try it out :) @FIT_Goat - oh no, shingles is terrible! and the hurricane doesn't sound like much fun either :)

Hey everyone! I am doing quite well on my cutting out dairy, this is the fourth day (about week 6 of keto) and finally my ketostix have gone from medium pink to dark pink!! Yay! It must be the absence of dairy... The only thing is I need to figure out how to take a little takeaway container of coconut oil with me when I am…

You look great!

I love it! I am feeling super focused atm so I am all for it. Plus I am giving up dairy for 30 days to see how much difference it makes to my weight and how I feel. Please feel free to add me if you wish my diary is open. I am doing keto under 15 (ish) carbs, 1200 calories.

Lunch on the go on Saturday was '100gms roast pork please, with crackling and can I get some butter with that? No gravy, no roast veges, no carrots, no..... nothing else just the meat and butter' thanks .... The girl behind the counter thought I was a bit strange :)

I survived day one! lots of coconut oil with every meal and coconut cream/curry sauce with dinner. I will probably eat the same today but going to the movies tonight with a quick bite before hand at a burger place. Should be easy :)

@PaleoInScotland - yes I love me some coconut cream and I will try that in my sauces but not sure if I can do it in coffee :) @Foamroller - Im not sure if it is specific cheeses or even cream or butter but I just thought maybe doing a dairy free month then introducing small bits I will see what reacts with my system,…

OMG! I am pleased I am not the only one with cheese breath. I used to be a complete cheese-aholic and could eat alot of cheese before getting the 'breath' but lately I have reduced it right down. Since being on Keto even when I have a wee piece by itself, straight away cheese breath. Its revolting. It has actually put me…

Thanks for this, I had no idea what that meant :)

Christchurch, New Zealand!! I did LCHF last year lost 25kilo. fell off wagon, gained back 10 kilo. Have now been on Keto plan for 5-6 weeks, really like it now I have gotten used to the smaller portions. Good luck :)

I have no ideas but just wanted to say YOU LOOK AMAZING! congrats on all your losses :)

Baby spinach cooked with butter and cream cheese and bacon for lunch was yum! (phooey! photo didn't attach)

You take your own dinner to friends house (really good friends) so you can put as much salt and fat on it before you get there and no one will know or do the 'concerned for your health' thing. Actually at the moment I would rather not socialise at all until I am keto adapted.

AWESOME WORK!!! Congratulations :)
-
@nonaturtle congratulations on your progress, I love that you shared your story

I welcome all keto beings with open diaires! I get bored with my food and love having a nosey to see what others are eating :) Feel free to add me, my diary is open

I agree with the whole offal thing, no thanks... Unless its chicken livers made into pate with bacon, butter and cream, now that is so good!

Welcome back! this is an awesome group with lots of advice and positiveness!! Please feel free to add me, my diary is open. I have been on and off this year but am now back with a vengeance doing keto, I have 20 kilos to lose (40+ pounds?). I log my food but not my exercise as I don't want that added to my calories…

I used to be so useless at peeling eggs, then my friend showed me a little trick. Once the eggs are cooked and cooled enough to handle, just lightly crack the shells a couple of times and drop back into the water. The water seems to get under the fine skin just under the shell. By the time you have cracked all of them you…

Hi! from Chch NZ :) I love (maybe a bit too much) PICs peanut butter, made in NZ from Aussie peanuts. Very yummy. Also the Slendier Noodles and variations from New World supermarkets, they have very low carbs, maybe none? Sorry cant remember. Verkerks Salami snack sticks, yummy and easily fit in you handbag, no…

OMG! sounds amazing - thanks for sharing :)

I am hoping the tiredness goes away also, I know that if I keep up my water intake and have at least one cup of very salty beef or chicken stock it does relieve it quite a bit. I use the Massel stock cubes, they are gluten free and very tasty :)

thanks @ladipoet that Soul Bread looks delish! I think I will go for that one as I am trying to stay under 20 carbs
