It does depend on what I eat, I could eat 300 calories of potato chips and be starving an hour later or I can eat 100 calorie yogurt, 150 calorie roasted chicken, and 50 calories in broccoli and that will get me through most of the afternoon

Down another pound today! Finally glad to see the scale actually moving. Annoying watching it go up 3 lbs, down 2, up 1 blah blah blah

Awesome results! I love Disney so much too <3

I have fitbit charge 2 and love it! I've had a fitbit for years now, never had any complaints. I like to wear mine to track my sleep and I dont think I'd watch an apple watch or versa, they're too big. The apple watch has to be charged everyday like your phone from what I understand. I charge my fitbit once a week.

5'2 here I get about 12-15k steps per day - I do have a desk job but I purposely make sure I get plenty of walking in everyday. I also workout 5 days a week (3 days cardio, 2 days lifting) I am losing about 1-1.5lbs a week on 1500-1700 calories a day. My maintenance calories should be around 2100 I'm guessing.

I feel your frustration, even at 130lbs I had to buy wide calf boots :(
-
I average about 6 hours. I'd like to get more but its hard when you wake up so early and dont want to go to bed at 8pm and its still light outside.

could be starting teething, my oldest had her first tooth around 3/4 months old. Babies can be funny sometimes, and the first year is pretty much a blur. He probably could cut one of the naps out during the day at this point, try to keep him awake. He still needs a nap or two but maybe not as many at this point. If he…

I assume my fitbit over estimates my calorie burn so I eat back about half most days.

A perk to being short, it takes less of a loss for it to be noticeable on us. 10lbs on someone 5'7 might not make much of a difference but it does on us!
-
slimfast, all it did was make me hungry and give me gas.

This sounds like a nightmare!

I'm 5'2, I get about 12-15k steps per day, 3 days of cardio and weight lifting 2 days a week. I eat about 1500-1700 a day and have been losing a little over 1lb a week (averaged) for the last month

I tend to drastically undereat when I'm sick due to no appetite. I typically lose a few pounds from dehydration. Just keep yourself hydrated at least, worry about the calories when you're feeling better.

Mirena itself cannot cause weight gain, it does not add calories to your body. What it can do and has been known to do is increase your appetite. I've had the mirena for 1 1/2 years and have gained 10lbs (I just lost those 10lbs by tracking my calories and moving more) I may get rid of it anyways though, my hair is falling…

I like how you keep it simple. Well done.

5'2 SW 177 CW 167 GW 140ish I'm getting my 10k steps per day (actually more like 12-15k) doing cardio 2-3 times a week and strength training 2-3 times a week. I'm averaging about 1500-1700 calories per day. The scale hasn't been my friend the last couple weeks, down 3, up 2, down 1, up 4. Its frustrating and exhausting but…

Because we require less calories, being older you require even fewer. It's a struggle for sure. My advice would be try to burn more by being more active so you can eat more
-
Is this a typo? You weigh 141lbs and need to lose 40lbs? You're at a healthy weight now, why is the doctor concerned??
-
SAME because I'm a dumb dumb. Lost 40 something gained 30 back. So stupid
-
I'm in! I am a little down that I am doing this again, I lost quite a bit of weight before and gained 30 lbs back. So here I go again, only now I am older and the BC I'm on seems to causing me to lose a bit slower. Plus side I quit smoking since last time I lost weight so exercise has been easy. 37years old 5'2 SW 177 CW…

Friday. I was weighing in on Monday but I dont track my calories on the weekend, I'm very consistent M-F so I feel like that is a better day for me. I eat more junk food on the weekend, definitely increasing my salt intake so monday wouldn't be a good day.
-
on my active days I'm at about 1400-1500 and I allow 1 day where I count my calories but eat at maintenance, so about 1900 that day
-
of course it does. My 6'4 husband will most definitely require more calories than my 5'2 self assuming our activity level is the same
-
I also quit smoking 3 weeks ago so I'm just full of changes lately. I feel AWESOME though
-
I'm back too, lost 50lbs gained back 40, down 9 from when I started 3 weeks ago. UGH here we go again

Ignore the snarky responses, some people can't help but be miserable. I think you've got the right idea to not starve yourself or deprive yourself, that isn't sustainable. Good luck to you!!
