  • I'm 5'1 and 137 as of today. My goal weight was initially 130 but I'm leaning towards 120 now that I'm closer.
  • Thank you!. I get most of my calories from fat but I'm always at at least 20 percent protein so I think I'll be fine.
  • Yes , that's what I did last night. I think it should be fine just don't wanna cheat myself out of food.
  • I would say a combination of both probably two hours of stocking , cleaning , trash etc and 2 hours of standing. Thank you for your response btw
  • Thanks for all the advice! I'm currently at about a 400 calorie deficit if I can stick to it
  • Thanks I will look up the programs ! Any diet suggestions ? Why do people bulk to gain muscle if you cant turn fat to muscle ? Should I continue my deficit ?
  • I would and still do on occasion get a wet burritto with extra cheese and extra sauce and 3 sides of sour cream. It would literally be a pile of sauce and cheese surrounding the burritto. I still do this on occasion as a treat but now I'll only eat half
  • I agree seeing the doctor is the best thing - I just had my annual physical and they advised to change my diet and take a laxative. No real medical issues so just letting you know this could be natural for you. Obviously see a doctor first but if everything's ok its probably just your build.
  • I am 5'1 and 143 lbs and have a 39 inch waist at the widest point. Here I am 11 lbs from a healthy BMI and my stomach is way above the recommend size for optimal health. I see a lot of people saying the belly is the last to go so that's what I'm hoping for. Looking at the pictures yours looks a little rounder than mine but…
  • Thank you! I thought maybe I was being overly sensitive, I guess not smiley:
  • LOL, fine maybe it is dramatic but I tend to be that way! I don't think there is anything wrong with dairy I just cant eat it and I know I don't respond well. I think it would be different if I declared it was poison for everyone. Just making an observation or comparison based on my reaction. If someone can tolerate dairy…
  • I do not think dairy is poison in general , I have been told by my primary care physician my body is unable to process dairy and negatively impacts my health so yes to myself and other intolerant people its akin to poison.
  • I don't care for plain milk at all. I LIVE for cheese and sour cream. Unfortunately I recently discovered I am intolerant. None of the vegan replacements come close all I taste is nutritional yeast blech. Bless their heart for trying but I think I'll just live dairy free until they come up with a replacement that taste…
  • Yeah , I'm getting near the end 11 lbs to a healthy BMI 13 lbs to goal! I can't believe I lost 55 lbs in the last year! It's amazing isn't it ?
  • I was pretty bloated/constipated from those foods, guess that's what it was. Still hoping it continues though :D
  • I would say 80lbs in a year is a reasonable goal. I have lost 54lbs since last march and the majority of that was in the first six months. I gained 12 back over the holidays and have just got the last pound off. I'm sure if I would have stayed on track all year I would have easily lost that much.
  • Thanks for the help! I am nervous to try the sour cream - I don't see how that can be faked
  • Just regarding him suggesting the detox. That's what seemed weird. Was wondering if maybe he is compensated for pushing those things....
  • that's funny that you say that because I didn't realize that until hours later and was like OMG how will I live !
  • He mumbled the letters it was Hgc or hbp or something. The point is he specifically said it was a detox cleanse which Is supposed to be bs no matter what the name is since your body cleanses itself. I was asking for opinions If people thought there was some use to it since a doctor had recommended it. Thank you for the…
  • Thanks, I'm definitely trying it. I'm kind of excited to see if it works but I love dairy so much.
  • You're right - I think I will follow along with the diet until my next appointment since there is no harm. I can always clarify I am looking into the correct detox and if so go from there. My hope is that maybe there is another 3 letter detox that starts with an H that's more accredited and less d"detoxy"
  • He did order a blood test , and I believe the gluten and dairy was to see if my HS improves. As far as the anxiety a therapist recommended I see a doctor and be put on medication. He is aware I exercise 5 times a week so not sure if he thinks the diet will help that too. He wanted me to keep a diary of my anxiety to see if…
  • No- he has ordered a blood test but advised me to go gluten and dairy free in the meantime. I am sensitive to dairy and he stated typically they go together.
  • Well my understanding wet burrittos are a regional thing started in michigan. I love them but no chains really serve them.
  • I was actually considering asking but didn't want to sound like a weirdo! At least I know I'm not the only one ☺
  • I think everyone falls off the wagon. I started almost a year ago to the date. In that year I probably had six months of solid dieting and six months of getting on and off the band wagon. One thing you have to do is keep trying. If I hadn't restarted so many times I wouldn't have been able to maintain my 54lb loss. Do I…
  • THESE ARE MY FAVORITE! forty calories of heaven!
