You may want to try 2-4% fat yogurt. Less sugar and more filling. Fat isn’t so bad

Hi Major, I’m close to losing 35lbs since 1/1/19. I had a physical in December and my HDL was low ans LDL was too high. It scared me into losing weight. I had blood work done a week ago and HDL shot up into healthy range and my LDL is CLOSE to normal. I’ve been only working out once a week. I cut out all processed carbs.…

Cauliflower has been my go to and has helped me lose so much weight. One more prep I do (not rice). Roast it with salt / olive oil for 25 min at 425. Then put date syrup bottom of plate, tahini on top of it with pickled red onion and some roasted pistachios. Hearty / healthy meal

I throw a head of cauliflower in a food processor after breaking it down. Peanut on a pan then cook peas / carrots. Then add onions, then the cauliflower / soy sauce / dab of sesame oil. Scramble an egg in another pan mix together and so good! (Diamond salt added as we go) My other go to is sliced brown mushrooms with…

I do 16-8 or 20-4 depending on what’s my body is telling me. If I’m hungry I’ll eat, if not I won’t. I no longer say OMG ITS 12 I MUST EAT. I’ve found I crave more nuts / cheese and tend to eat a little of both before dinner or incorporate diary into my dinner. It helps keep me incredibly satatied.

That’s incredible you’ve kept the weight off so long. I have yoyod in years past and have a feeling this time will be different.

I never feel that satisfied with a snack. If I do, it usually will be a few hours before dinner and will be nuts with some manchecgo or parmessian cheese typically. Those foods help fill me up

Reading Dr. Fung’s the obesity code changed my life. I’ve been consistently losing 2+ pounds a week and about to hit 35 lbs lost, and feeling a strong sense of satiety as I have not been depriving myself. I really feel that this is going to be a new lifestyle way of eating / living going forward. Why is there no biggest…

Fructose is one of the worst things someone can put into their body if they are trying to lose weight
-
There’s a growing body of medical literature indicating obesity is a hormonal disorder and when we eat plays a big role in weight loss / health
-
There’s a book called “the obesity code” by dr Jason fung which I’ve found life changing. He also talks a lot on YouTube about his philosophy to lower blood sugar

6-8 meals is NOT way to go. Never gives your body a break to disgust and constant spiking of insulin levels. Why would eating more cause weight loss? 3 meals with as limited snacking as possible
-
Also, do you cook? If so, I’d imagine you are much more accurate with counting cals the. If you dont

I was 60lbs over weight at 220ish when I started after Christmas. About 70 days in down 30. First month was the quickest at 15ish. You aren’t properly logging food.

Are you going from no dieting at all to attempting a 3 day fast? There’s zero chance you will be able to make it. Work your way into it, Keto isn’t a magic bullet that’s going to make your weight melt off. Start with 3 meals a day no snacking in between to work Into keto / IF. You lose craving for carbs and find yourself…

You’ll prob go up on scale 2.5 lbs from retaining water but will lose it and then some after 2 days of your normal dieting.

Quina with scrambled egg whites and Siracha is my go. Try half an avocado spread on whole wheat toast with some salt and fresh lime or lemon juice on top. Both keep my pretty filled up a while

Salads are the move

That's a ton of sodium retaining weight. Your salad might have been bigger than 3 ounces. That's super small. Premade soups have crazy sodium amounts. You also eat a ton of cheese products which are super high fat. Try and cut those out. Good luck to you!
