  • Exactly. Pizza actually has a good balance of protein, fat and carbs, especially if you load it up with veggies and other things.
  • 1 gram carb = 4 grams water. So yeah, lots of water weight loss initially.
  • Nope! Ketoacidosis is not related to low carb diets. Ketoacidosis is effect of type 1 diabetes, starvation and alcoholism. Can also be triggered by dehydration, heart attacks, etc. But low carb diets do not cause KA.
  • Arhritis just doesn't go away, what can a chiro do that a regular doc can't?
  • I think the only issue with pre-packaged meals where it comes with a box and film is that you can't accurately weigh the product to make sure the calories add up with the nutritional label. Unless maybe you weigh it after cooking in a bowl that's been tare'd.
  • Im picky and eat completelydifferent from my boyfriend. He cooks his own food, I make my own. No biggie. We also have different food allergies so he can't eat what I eat, I can't eat what he eats.
  • I have egg allergies. Everything else is medication like certain antibiotics. Fun, fun, fun. My son has egg allergies too, and my boyfriend has nut allergies.
  • Splurge on pizza, save on other foods if I have to. As in eat lighter earlier in the day.
  • It's possible to log and weigh and be perfectly fine with it. Not everyone does get hung up about it.
  • I have food allergies and a sensitive stomach, can't tell what'll set a bout of diarrhea off. So I rarely eat fast food anymore. I'd rather be in the comfort of my own home in case I need to run to the toilet.
  • I dont know, my mom is an apple shape and there's three of us. Im an hourglass, my sister is a banana and my other sister is a pear. It's strange! You'd think since we all have the same genes, we'd have similar heights and body shapes but nope. The banana shaped sister is the tallest [5'8], I'm in the middle [5'7], and the…
  • It kinda is. I don't think other people realize what a pain being a hourglass is. What fits in the chest for me does not fit in the waist [too big], and also big chests = back and shoulder problems. Also what fits in the hips does not fit my lower legs. I have little chicken legs halfway down but my thighs are big, so…
  • Im an hourglass too, so I have big upper thighs and big boobs. if I had my way, I would shrink those areas first but alas, we can't choose where the fat comes off.
  • This is why I am so glad I had a tubal. I hate hormonal anything, at least with a tubal I know I can never get pregnant again and there are no side effects. Then again, I know women are also on bc sometimes to regulate periods and for PCOS.
  • For breads, I use flax seed and water. I am allergic to eggs and flax seed is my to go substitute in baking. For muffins and such, applesauce works great so that may be an option, too.
  • Yeah, sweating isn't the problem. High temps can easily cause fatigue, dehydration and muscle cramps from low electrolytes.
  • Could it be that you're just doing too much? Like yesterday I exercised a lot and felt exhausted but I ate over 3,000 calories which is above my TDEE by a thousand. I think I just needed a break because I didn't really exercise today and I feel better.
  • I naturally do fasted cardio for two reasons: 1. I like getting it done in the morning when I feel the most energetic, and 2. I dont care for breakfast in the morning anyway.
  • The fitbit app on the phone goes by TDEE, MFP uses NEAT. I enabled negative calorie adjustment and set MFP to sedentary. Seems to work fine for me. So at the end of the day when I look at my Fibit app, I can get my calorie deficit by TDEE - Calories eaten.
  • I ate over 3000 calories, but with my workouts and everything I was only over my TDEE by 1,000 calories. No biggie I guess, I'm back to eating normally and I'm not weighing myself for the next couple of days.
  • what I do is if I am feeling particularly exhausted, I just take a break the next day. Seems to work. Listen to your body and don't force it if you're tired.
  • I work out indoors in the comfort of my own home where I have a/c.
  • Well said. And for the record, I adore my friend. Her and I connect very well despite the age gap, I will never hold her weight against her, or throw it in her face.
  • I don't count carbs, just calories. I used to do low carb but found it not sustainable. Since eating more carbs I actually find that I have enough energy to walk and run as much as I do.
  • Wowwwwww! does your back kill you? mine does and I'm not nearly as big busted as you are. But I guess because my boobs are huge in comparison to my ribcage and torso, it still affects my back.
  • I mean battling them aside from a gym. In the regular Pokemon games, to catch the pokemon you would throw a pokeball and battle to catch it. Youd also battle at gyms to collect badges.
  • Yeah, I have a lot of body fat but it hides in my boobs and upper thighs, with a narrow waist and very thin legs in comparison. So I can totally see how I look like I'm a at a normal weight from an outsider's perspective. But I gotta say, Im looking forward to hopefully losing my boobs. I'm a D and on my small frame, it…
  • Alta has auto track features, which you can adjust. it can tell when I am on my regular bike, maybe it also works for stationary bikes as well. https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Alta/Alta-Cycling-and-Steps-for-Challenges/td-p/1173939
  • It doesn't. The OP said she's been going through fertility treatments, meaning she wanted a kid and ended up pregnant while doing HCG injections. Maybe it boosted her hormones enough that she could get pregnant, who knows.
