I don't think you can battle. You can only collect Pokemon. Maybe I'm wrong, though.

Yeah, and normally I dont talk about diet or exercise to anyone, but I bought a cute pleather skirt. My friend and I are really into sewing/fashion/costuming so I told her even though the skirt was a medium, it didn't fit over my thighs and I hope that it will once I lose some weight.
-
I explained that I am overweight by bmi standards and hope to improve my blood pressure if I lose some weight, though I'll probably be on pills until the day I die.
-
Sorry Jessica. People are so used to seeing obese and overweight people that normal weight looks scary skinny to them.
-
That's like my sister. her and my parents are obese, she thinks I'm super skinny. I'm not. My fat hides in my boobs and upper thighs, so I look slimmer than I really am.

Agree 100%!!!![/quote] Yes, Anorexia is a mental disease that manifests in physical ways. A person with anorexia isn't going to lose a few pounds and then stop. They'll keep losing weight to the point where they are completely emaciated.
-
I dont really care about macros, CICO works so I dont care how much fat, carbs or protein I get. I get why some people want to track it, though.

I was 130-140 lbs when I got ill. I think I got the short end of the stick sometimes because what 20 something year old without heart disease gets cardiac problems? It's not like I was born ill. It is baffling to a dr to be at a good weight and have high blood pressure even though I eat low sodium. And in the last 20…

Yeah, all you have to do is weigh the container before and after. You don't even need to zero it out, if the container or bottle weighs 300 grams to start and then 280 after you're done with it, you know you used 20 grams of product.

I ended up saying I take bp meds and beta blockers and am a few pounds overweight, and losing weight should help me feel better a bit. You're right and maybe her perception of health is skewed a bit.

I'm really mixed about Pokemon. I grew up with it and I used to trade cards as well as collect them. I think it's great that it's being used as a tool to help people get more active, but I also think that people shouldn't be glued to their phones. Especially children. Now I know that parents should monitor their child's…

Yeah, I'm using it as motivation! Plus I have a small frame [my wrist is less than 6 inches around] and look best when I look lean. I know my friend wasn't trying to be hurtful and I agree with her that everyone should be confident no matter the size.
-
I think it depends on how fast you get the steps, because when I hit 5k steps I get 150 cals as those steps came from walking/jogging 4 mph for 30 mins.
-
Yeah, normally I don't talk about anything diet or exercise related to people, but both her and I are really into fashion/clothing/sewing and I told her that I bought a skirt but it doesn't fit over my thighs and that I hope to fit into it once I lose some weight.

Yup. My Charge got torn up and completely broke apart within a couple of months. That's why I switched to the Alta. I didn't want another Charge, even though it was warrantied.
-
For the Alta, all you do is unhook the band from the inside. You press on the metal, that's it.
-
I have the Alta. It's nice for me because it does not track floors, which I do not need. I dont have stairs in my house. I like that it vibrates ten minutes before the hour is up if you did not take 250 steps. You can turn that feature off. It also can be used for alarms. I miss the button that the Charge had but double…

I had a day like this yesterday. My TDEE was 2400 for the day and I ended up eating probably close to 2000 calories when all was said and done and let me tell you, eating simple carbs was the reason why. So now I know to fill up on protein and fat rather than stuff like croissants, etc.
-
Ok well just make sure because Ive had low potassium and it caused irregular heartbeats and I had to drink a nasty drink as well as get an IV of magnesium. That's why I said you have to be careful before upping potassium and taking supplements.
-
Are you taking potassium supplements under the guidance of a doctor? because if your potassium is too low or too high, you can get major heart problems.
-
19 is great, but I bet most of that is water weight. That's what happens with low carb diets initially.
-
Wow, and you didn't get heartburn or acid reflux? just curious because spicy things give me bad reflux. I also seem to have issues with eating too much fat :/
-
You can do all the numbers you want but even if you do the math right, you won't necessarily see the results you want. Weight loss is not linear, there are quite a few factors other than cico that affects weight. Just do your normal exercise and eat the way you usually do, and don't sweat the rest.

I've cut down dairy because of stomach issues. Too much diarrhea and stomach aches. Lowering my dairy intake has seem to help, though yesterday I had two violent stomach aches from eating cheese popcorn. Instead of butter, I use earth balance. Instead of regular milk, I use lactaid brand. I've given up cream cheese. Can…

What's nice about the Fitbit and Aria scale is that it does all that stuff for you. As you update your weight, your TDEE automatically changes as a result :D
-
There is no tips or tricks. Eat less, move more. Weigh food on a food scale. That's it.
-
the problem with that logic is that pregnant people gain weight, and they're supposed to. so why would anyone try hcg?
-
Even people with metabolic disorders are able to lose weight once they get a diagnosis and go on the right meds.
-
Good luck and report back :D

I don't think it's a true allergy. Speaking as someone who has actual food allergies, it's more like hives, anaphylaxis, itchy mouth and ears, etc for me. I carry an epi-pen. I don't even need a doctor to tell me I can't have eggs, I was born like this and it's a reaction that happens every single time. I'm also allergic…
