Do you weigh and measure ALL of your food? You say you weigh and measure most, then you say you weigh and measure food. And then you mention measuring cups. That tells me you're not being a hundred percent accurate and that is the most likely culprit.

I think everyone missed this part of the OPs post: For a month I have been tracking on mfp ( I weigh and measure most foods so am sure I am not underestimating). I eat 1000-1100 calories a day , which is low but I am tiny and I wasn't losing on 1200. My guess? you're not losing weight because you're not accurately weighing…

I'm very picky. I won't eat veggies cooked, only raw except for potatoes. I also don't eat meat, and I cannot have eggs [I am allergic]. I don't have to trick myself to do anything. I'll eat what I want and avoid what I don't want.

3000 calorie burn sounds like a lot of calories for a short person. I'm 5'7" and 164 lbs and I burn 2100 cals walking 10k steps. My BMR is 1600 without exercise, and 10k steps gives me 500 calories a day. I'm willing to bet it's overestimating.
-
omg, you did? this gives me hope. I'd love to be a B or A, lol.
-
Walking burns calories, so yes. I like to do it because as the poster above me said, it allows me to eat more.

They can actually be quite large depending on body size. I have a small frame so my bust looks huge compared to my waist and hips and it's awful and painful. I'm hoping they shrink down a lot but if not, I may end up with a reduction in the future.

100 grams of cooked spaghetti is 158 cals, 108 grams of cooked pasta is 171 cals.
-
Is that burn number through MFP or the Fitbit app itself? I ask because the Fitbit calculates exercise and BMR for your TDEE and doesn't differentiate between the two.
-
What about water that's not from the tap, like seltzer bottles you buy in the grocery store? Im asking because those say there's no sodium.
-
What I would do is weigh in after two days off, it'll help even out any water retention. For example, I work out Mon-Fri, and weigh in on Sundays because I don't work out on the weekend.
-
Because it has no calories or sodium and fluid pushes fluid. Oh and it's hydrating.

I don't have the dreaded pooch after my c-section, but I had really strong abs before pregnancy and I was very careful not to gain more than the recommended amount. I also don't gain weight in my stomach, that probably played a big part of it. Sometimes, the only way to get rid of the pooch is through surgery.

I don't care about them being processed, what I don't like is the texture. I gave up real meat because of the texture and taste, why would I like soy meat any more? yuck.

My boyfriend is allergic to peanuts. He's always been. He can have almonds no problem, so he eats almond butter instead of peanut butter.
-
Why do you take it off? some of the models have smart track features so it can detect walking, biking, etc Maybe you'll want that.
-
Do you remember what brand it was? Im a huge fan of Daiya.

If it helps OP, I lost 3 lbs my first week and nada the second week. I'm on week 3 and I'm chugging along. If I lose, great. if I stay the same, eh whatever. I know weight loss is not linear.

Actual weight - no. Water weight - yep. very easy.

I disagree with the last part. The laws of physics cannot be broken. The only thing I can think of protection wise is the cannibalization of organs and muscles in severe anorexia in order to keep one alive. But even then, cico still applies. An anorexic won't gain or lose weight until they either eat less than they burn or…

Well, if you're sure you're weighing everything, I'm inclined to say to just be patient and give it a couple of weeks. If you've started a new exercise routine, that can cause some fluctuations while your body adjusts.

It depends on what yeast you use. The platinum red star yeast works like magic and I get great results using it without any extra added sugar. It rises quicker than any other yeast I've tried, and it's not even the rapid rise stuff.
-
I use white whole wheat flour, doesn't seem to make a lick of difference.
-
No one has addressed this issue....HOW are you measuring food? with a food scale, or cups and spoons? I agree, don't worry about daily fluctuations.
-
Depends on how many cals you have left. If you're tdee is 2000, and you have 1500 net, I wouldn't eat it back. But if your tdee is 2000 and you're burning 1,000 cal a day from exercising, I'd eat 500 cals. And I always eat back calories if I'm under 1200 net so that I'm consuming about 1200-1300 a day.
-
Are you weighing your food on a food scale?
-
Man, that's really awful. I'm sorry :/
-
I too have the Aria and love it. It's quick, easy and everything gets uploaded automatically.
-
Never tried Chao. I only see Daiya around and I like the way it melts, so I stick with that.

You don't need sugar or honey at all. I never add sugar to my breads. There's enough carbs in flour for the yeast to feed off of.
