I asked one of the owners if they were going to run the AC when we move to the bigger facility next month. He got quite the belly laugh out of that.

I'm not a regular contributor here, but I'll bite. I returned to Crossfit regularly a few months ago after a year and a half struggle with viral gastroparesis that pretty much wrecked my life. I had been going to Crossfit for nearly a year before that and was really starting to see some nice gains and weight loss when I…

Our gym refuses to run the AC. A lot of of our gym is cops, firefighters, ex-military, so I think they have a higher misery standard than average. On one hand, it's stupid hot at noon. On the other hand, at the 5am class the gym has been closed up all night and so it's kind of an oven. I think the 8:30 class works out best…

3x a week. In addition, I try to bike three hours a week. Time permitting, I try to either replace or supplement the biking with at least a half day of skiing or hiking. Once in a while when I'm really in a bad mood and I need to beat something up I'll hit a fourth class. The gym owner doesn't charge me for this, I went…

Are you allowed to bike?

Can you post a screenshot of your calorie breakdown? I ran this through MFP's recipe generator. I can't see how you came to 189 calories unless you are using straight Frank's on the bites - using 1 tbsp of butter and 1 tbsp of Frank's it comes to 268 calories - and that only provides half the sauce you recommend.

Those odd things you're seeing are exercises that people have entered as a custom exercise. After you search for an exercise, there's a link at the bottom of the form to Add an exercise to the database. Click that and you can create your custom exercise. The calories burned is not going to be accurate regardless,…

The rest of the family eats their pretzel buns like they're manna from heaven. I've never had one, 200 calories is a bit spendy for a piece of bread IMO. We buy most of our meats and produce there. I buy a chuck roast package from there every few weeks, chop it up and braise it in whatever spices hit my fancy plus a bottle…

At this point your boyfriend may be continuing to eat sugar to spite you.

Fluffy is a pretty common descriptor of overweight/obese. Don't be disingenuous. This is a place for support. chami1013, you'll probably find a lot of things you can do that you didn't realize you could do before. The even better news is, as you shed fat and build muscle, those things will be even easier to do, and you'll…

At least three. If my son's soccer practice gets cancelled he'll do a third WOD for the week and I'll do a fourth. I'm on a 3x/week membership but my coach is fine with me sneaking in a fourth, especially since we're paying for the 3x/week for my son and he usually only makes it 2x/week during soccer season.

I use my Salter scale several times a day. I've had it for years. I can't recall the last time I replaced my batteries, but over the last day or two it's started wavering on occasion when a constant weight is on it, so I picked up some batteries and will replace them next time I notice it.

When I was nursing and doing Weight Watchers, I was allowed an extra 10 points for full time nursing. That's roughly 500 extra calories. I was eating at the top of my points range and the weight still flew off. Be sure to scale down as your baby starts nursing less. My daughter abruptly stopped nursing after I had to go on…

We did wall balls and toes to bar yesterday, I wanted someone to shoot me and put my out of my misery.
