I don't think any ob would say it's advisable to eat at a deficit while pregnant. Eat healthy, and take care of yourself. I gained 60 lbs with my pregnancy, my friend gained 70. Babies were fine, and so were we. You're going to gain weight no matter what, and it just depends on the individual how much.

Just went to vegan last week, and so far so good. I ate mostly vegetarian before, only sometimes eating meat. The hardest part has been kicking dairy, since I've realized I'm a full on dairy addict! Just started my vegan test run this week, and would also like some vegan/vegetarian friends :) I've never been a big fan of meat, mostly just eat it for the protein. What are your highest protein foods? That's the one thing I've struggled with so far.

Nothing wrong with pizza! About once a week I buy the pre maid pizza dough from trader joe's and we make our own mini pizzas at home. With the right toppings, my pizza comes out to be under 300 cals. Paired with a side of veggies, it's totally satisfying.

My go to's for make ahead meals are chili, spinach tofu lasagna, and shredded chicken for tacos.

I did LA weight loss 10 years ago right after my daughter was born. I lost over 80 lbs in a year, but it was so incredibly restrictive I don't think I could ever do it again. 31 and 5'2.5" over here. My goal is to lose 30 lbs to get back to where I want to be. Carrying extra weight is so much more noticeable when you're a shorty! I've taken to wearing oversized tops, but it just makes me look kinda pregnant.

Also trying to lose 30lbs. Just started up with MFP again after about a year off. Just started back at the gym again yesterday after a few months of pure laziness. It's so hard to go! But trying to get back on track with the scheduled classes at Lifetime. It makes it easier when there's set days and times.
