Unfortunately you won't find support for quick weight loss on mfp. It's all about sustainability for the weight loss but especially for maintenance. The goal is to make this the last diet you'll ever have to go on.

The logic is simple but for me it hasn't been easy. I am more motivated to exercise now because it allows me to eat more.

There is a low carb forum on here. I find it easier to eat low carb because I stay fuller longer. I eat the same thing every morning for breakfast because I get a serving of veggies and stay full longer. It's eggs scrambled with broccoli. Good luck on your journey.

It's my understanding that some of the meds decrease your metabolism so keep that in mind. You will have to work harder than others but life isn't always fair.

The mfp philosophy is more of a long term one. The idea is sustainability for weight loss while training yourself on how to maintain that loss. If you do it right this will be the last diet you will ever be on.

Low carb also helped me with binges. I cut out white flour and white rice and pasta and that made a difference.

A lot of packages have grams rather than oz for serving size. I would get a scale with both

I only stop eating because it's socially unacceptable to continue sometimes. Nonfat Greek yogurt helps keep me full

My son is one of those people that this is a miracle drug for. Ironically he hates to take it because he doesn't like the way it makes him feel. He feels disjointed on it.

When you use food for comfort there will be discomfort when you have to limit it. I recommend counseling to help you with this.
