I lost almost 80lbs last year, then fell off the proverbial wagon for a few months and gained 15 back. I'm back now too and I'd love to be your friend so we can motivate each other!

Congrats on hitting your first goal!

One possible explanation is that you've added weight lifting and you're gaining muscle while losing fat, so the weight stays the same but you're getting slimmer. I'm no expert, but that would be my first thought if you're honestly doing everything else right. The other common answer people give on here is that weight loss…

I've found it comes down far more to determination than to motivation. Motivation may have gotten us started on this journey, but determination keeps us going for the long haul. Motivation (and willpower) runs out after a while, but if you're determined to change your life and determined to be healthier, you will find it…

I finally got back to regular exercise after three months of being lazy and 'too busy'. Then, I did an extra 'non-required' workout this past week, just because I wanted to. (WHAT????) I posted a picture of myself on Facebook and still don't want to take it down and hide it.

I posted a picture of myself on Facebook, for everyone to see, and I still don't want to take it down and hide it. For me, that's a huge victory.

AWESOME!!! I'm getting there myself, only another 10-15 lbs and I'll be overweight too!

I basically spend about $200 per month on me and my cat. I shop primarily at Price Chopper and Walmart. I'm very picky and basically buy all the same things every couple of months or so. I'm also on a fairly strict budget, so I can't afford to spend more than that.

I'm not sure if there's a way on the app, but on the website, you can delete the foods you've added. I just tried it to make sure. Under "Food", go to "My Foods" Click on the food you want to delete Across from "Nutritional Facts" there will now be an "Edit" and a "Delete" button

Really, it depends on him. I am also very picky, but what I found that helped me was to sit down and make as complete of a list as I could of what I will eat. Then, figure out recipes from those things.

Cheeseburgers happen. It's ok. The important thing is to keep going, get back on track, and forgive yourself for it. Personally, I've found that motivation isn't what I needed. Motivation comes and goes, as does willpower. Determination and a plan to follow are what have gotten me through the last 10 months and 70 lbs.

Sounds like you're already making a good start! I started at 280 lbs and in the last 6 months I'm down 49.5 lbs (should hit 50 this week!) and I really don't feel restricted, just more mindful of my eating. My next goal is to hit 200 around the end of the year and then another 50 lbs over the course of next year so that I…

Congratulations on your amazing transformation! I can't wait until I can post the same thing (we have similar starting stats and goals).

Congratulations, that is such an accomplishment! Keep up the great work!

As of today, I've lost an average human leg and a rack of baby back ribs!
