I heard about it from my U.K. diabetes forum. I think you only have to worry about it if you have financial info associated with your account, like if you purchased premium MFP.

My reply disappeared so I'm re-posting. Have you tried low carb? Works for tons of type 2s. http://mobile.dudasite.com/site/phlaunt1?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.phlaunt.com%2Fdiabetes%2Fbio.php&utm_referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.ca%2F#2831 https://www.dietdoctor.com/how-to-lose-weight

I've tried them a couple of times and I'm not crazy about them. And yes, I did rinse, boil briefly and pan fry them as directed, still meh... Edible rubber bands comes to mind.

lol, good to know. I tried to keep protein down but, no fricken way, that's not enough! I seem to be hitting 75-110g. Or maybe I just eat too much. Oh well, feel good, not gaining, so I'll just stick with it.

I'm T2, no meds, female. I keep my carbs under 50g, those grams from veggies. As a diabetic, you'll feel much better on low carb. There's also info out there that indicates that diabetics should keep their protein to 53g per day. So I've been watching that as well to see if the weight continues downward/slows/changes.

Subtract the fibre from carbs which gives you net carbs. Use that amount, as fibre is indigestible and doesn't count. So...carbs 10 - 7 fibre = 3 net carbs. This is the number you use in your daily allowance.

I'm snailing along as well. 5'3", 59, female, started at 167, took a whole year to lose 18 lbs. Combination of post menopause, age, type 2 diabetes. Just keep at it.

Thanks. My problem wasn't really keto flu because as soon as I started getting mild cramps, I realized I had to increase salt and water. My problem is the keto rash that starts when I reduce carbs.

Perimenopause is the key word here. If you google perimenopause and weight loss, you'll find info that indicates that low calorie doesn't work and suggests switching to low carb or Mediterranean. I myself (post meno) have a difficult time losing weight; took me about a year to lose 15 lbs on moderate low carb. Will now be…

I'm doing low carb trying to get to keto. Taking it slow because I'm type 2 diabetic and don't want the carb flu, keto rash is bad enough. Would love to join a small group like this. What do I have to do to be part of the group?

Enjoying the heat wave in Wpg! Only -21. Whitehorse is warmer (-9) right now, not that I wish colder weather upon them, but seriously...

People who throw garbage out of their vehicle window or clean out their vehicle and leave it at the curb. The world is NOT a garbage can you pigs. Someone has to pick it up.

You should limit your carbs (starches and sugars, processed food) to help you lose weight.
