It took me 2 days. I was on a business trip last week and struggled to find keto meals with what was served. Traveling home, I went ahead and had a Ben & Jerry's pint. I started back on keto Sat AM and by bedtime Sunday I was putting out ketones.

I use Duke's mayonnaise. For my veggie dip - full fat sour cream with some Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning. I wish I could find a good sugar free ketchup but have been subbing pico/guac for now. For my salads, it is usually EVOO and vinegar with salt and pepper.

I use my scale, measuring spoons and cups at each meal preparation. I feel I can relax once I know my portions are accurate. I do not completely trust my eyeball method. Three oz or six oz of roast beef? Drop it in the scale, be certain and then don't worry about it.

I watched him on TV (Georgia Public Broadcasting) talking about and promoting the book. It was part of the fund drive but I didn't mind. I thought it was interesting.

I know exactly what you mean. There must be some link between my keto diet and my dream patterns. My dreams are vivid and sometimes bizarre, not scary though, but thought provoking. I keep a journal now. I think it's so amazing how the brain and body work.

Simple here...I have been doing a teaspoon of coconut oil with 1/2 packet of Splenda. I eat straight off the spoon. It's weird (texture wise) at first and really sweet too. I had been reading about oil pulling. I think maybe this is same but I don't spit the oil out. Regardless, I believe my gums are looking healthier…
