  • Hiya! Remember to try and measure foods/liquids with grams rather than cups, tablespoons, etc. It is more accurate. If you don't have a scale, I recommend getting one. The serving size listed on packages tends to be off. The small stuff can get ya!
  • ... That doesn't sound healthy unless you are a bodybuilder/athlete with an extreme regime. Am I the only one?
  • You would be absolutely shocked the amount that the implied 'by volume' doesn't actually happen here. We correct, double-check, and move on. Not only that, this context didn't make sense for it at all, especially with her thread. You don't put on that much muscle this quickly, either. I wish. I'm technically in…
  • 23.3% To make this easier, I'm 5'2", 103lbs. I wear a size 00-0 women's depending on brand, or a size 10 lil girl's if the women's is too big. Measurements: 27in, 22.5in, 28.5in. This is me, picture recently taken.
  • A pound is a pound. I believe you mean muscle is denser/smaller than fat for the same weight.
  • I'm under 15% bodyfat (went to fitness center to get measured). I do not have visible muscle like the pictures above show due to extra skin from my weightloss. I would have NEVER thought my bodyfat percentage was so low, and it really hit home how much loose skin I have. I recommend going to an actual fitness place to get…
  • How many calories are you consuming per day? That'll be the major thing to keep an eye on for weight loss. May I ask your height/weight/age? I lost 100lbs by calorie counting, no exercising. That said, it is good to do some exercise to help on retaining some of the muscle mass as you lose weight... I was quite 'skinnyfat'…
  • "Kitten" is the site's way of blocking curse words.
  • 4oz chicken breast, minced (I do it by hand). Some bell pepper, tomato, onion, mushroom... Don't need a whole lot, but also minced. BBQ sauce, gochujang, or maybe teriyaki sauce if I'm not wanting it spicy Wrap it. Collard green, lettuce, cabbage, kale, doesn't matter. NOMNOMNOM. ~ A~ <3
  • Keep going, you won't go straight down in weightloss. For example, I gain 5lbs in water weight right before I start my period. I hold onto it until the day before my period ends... Then it disappears overnight again. Sometimes with a extra pound. When I was losing (currently maintaining), it would stay the same for a full…
  • Look into egg beaters! May save you some extra calories, too. Southwestern flavor ends up coming up amazing as an omelette, without needing to add any extras. I miss their 3 cheese flavor.
  • Pretty much any lower-cal veg you can throw in. I'd still recommend weighing them, but they REALLY up your amount of food for few calories. Works especially well if you sub out something else for them instead. A few other things you can do to get more 'bang for your calorie buck' is go with chicken breast instead of beef,…
  • I, uh. Assume you meant breakfast. Egg white omelette! Or egg beaters. I loooove me some Southwestern egg omelettes.
  • It is only a lot of food if you aren't eating things that are very calorie-dense. A single pop tart does not equal a full pound of nectarines in satiety (both are 200 cal; just an example to show calorie density vs amount of food). So we plan around having larger meals with 'bulking' ingredients. Much larger, for less…
  • If it helps, I bump up 5lbs overnight right before my cycle. It stays until the day before I end... And all drops off again overnight. Bloated af. Give it another week and see if it changes. Lots of things affect our weight, you should know by now that it isn't linear when losing. Half of this is remembering to take a deep…
  • Veg noodles. I bought one of the smaller Vegetti things, worth the money... Noodle up some zucchini, give it a quick stir fry, add in a lil pasta sauce or pizza sauce (I have low cal ones ready)... If I'm feelin' saucy, some cheese. Side of either rice or pita bread (I still love carbs), fruits to snack on, veg…
  • Straight up 5lbs water weight gain for me. ; A; It always goes back down for me the day before my period actually ends. But it does get super frustrating, because it piles on QUICK. And is super noticeable, as my average is currently 103lbs when not 'on'... So much bloat...
  • ... Only a wide-set 'tummy tuck' alone, without repositioning my belly button, to remove the excess skin is $13,000. None covered under medical insurance, as this is fully elective for most who would do it. Unless you literally have so much it is causing health issues (can't move or clean yourself properly), and are able…
  • ... Weirdly, Skinny Syrups. Yes, the sugar free flavorings meant for your coffee/etc. Hell, even Walden Farms Caramel itself is amazing in the oatmeal. Their chocolate tastes disgusting, but dat caramel, unf.

  • I plan ahead what I'm ordering. If I'm wary, I can ask for substitutions for healthier items to put it closer to my estimation or to be on the safe side.
  • If it helps, I actually save most of my calories for later in the day. I don't eat breakfast due to getting extreme nausea in the mornings if so. Coffee or diet soda is fine, but I can't even stomach a protein shake. I go to bed feeling super satiated and happy with a nice-*kitten* dinner.
  • Plan a healthy snack you can slowly munch on during that time. Preportioned. Vegetables with some low-cal dip or hummus work well.
  • You should really do that as a general rule. In general, I don't believe that does a whole lot with actual excess skin...
  • Click for a before & after. Converting, I started at just over 200lbs (just over 14.25 stone). I'm currently around 103lbs (7.35 stone). (AS A NOTE I FORGOT TO ADD: I'm 5'2". I was slowly nearing morbidly obese. Yes, my current weight is in the healthy range for my height.) I'd take this body, health, and mind complete…
  • Any veg with some low-cal dip or hummus is my absolute favorite. Or even just a bit of ozuke stuff lightly sprinkled on it, then eaten with a fork. Mm, beet kraut over brocco and mushroom! <3 King Soopers currently has a sale on Simple Truth dips, too. 2/$5! I bought two of the Mediterranean cauliflower dip since they were…
  • Emotional eating for comfort despite knowing it isn't healthy to do (stepdad just finished having an 8-hour open heart surgery earlier). Sometimes, gotta do the unhealthy thing. Or I will effin' snap.
  • "Eating clean" doesn't mean eating at a calorie deficit. If you are eating better, but still eating the same amount of calories, you won't lose.
  • Some definitely have more potent aftertaste than others. Oatmeal cookie is right up there in my favorite flavors, but I realllly wanna try the new Blueberry Crumble. /drool If you sign up on their site, you can get a $1 off coupon in your email.
  • Multiple trips to the doc for heart issues, being put on a mobile heart monitor 3-4 times before I even turned 25, and finally... Going to the ER for vomiting blood. Got ulcers from my *kitten* af diet.
  • Don't let'm get you down! Office women are... Not so great when it comes to that. I've been open at my job about my previous weightloss (and have even shown off the 'before' pic). One girl is always a maaaaajor killjoy when it comes to discussion. I've been giving advice to one of our coworkers, encouraging him. He's been…
