I'm getting married in 10 days, and I just tried on my dress yesterday and it was way. Way too big! So I had to buy a new one cuz the alterations to my old one would have had to go down from a 12 to a 6, and more like a 2 for my waist! Don't lose too much before the big day haha

make a large salad with spiralized zucchinis, and chopped tomato, mozzarella, and basil salad! I had that for tonight and it was delicious.

I am also 28, a woman, have lost the same amount of weight, and weigh similar to you now. I noticed my periods getting lighter, and my usual very regular periods were now 2 or 3 weeks late. I think the change in routine can sometimes be reflected by hormonal changes. Yours might just be coming later now

Yeah, I just used women as an example. This issue I'd universal regardless of biological sex.

that makes sense, and was my first thought, but wonder why the authors did'nt state it so clearly (since it seems relatively easy to mitigate!). I started lifting at the beginning of my weight loss journey, and have calculated that I've lost 21 lbs of fat, and only 1 pound of LBM. My calculations aren't perfect, but I wear…

You are either overestimating your workout burn, or underestimating the amount of calories you eat. A true net of 1200 would result in weight loss, there is no such thing as a starvation mode.

Is it the government forcing something, or the corporations that have perpetuated unhealthy habits because they want to make a profit?

Also, doing squats would not get you bulky. You only get bulky if you train very hard, eat a surplus of calories over your TDEE, and eat a lot of protein. Then one does a cut cycle. Think about how many people you see that actually have bulky muscles... They work very hard for it. Just eat at a deficit, strength train, and…

I am a 28 year old woman, 65 inches tall, and weight about 145 currently, and size 6 is loose on me. I lift heavy 3 to 4 days a week, and do very light walking on some rest days (I don't feel like doing cardio right now haha). I eat about 400 to 500 cals less than my TDEE a day, so about 1400 to 1500 a day. I lose about 5…

Do you weigh your food? I lose about 5 lbs a month because I weigh everything that goes in my mouth, walk many days a week, and do progressive heavy lifting (Stronglifts 5x5). Unless you are actually working at it, chances are you aren't doing enough. Limiting food intake and light exercise don't mean much unless you can…

I like them with yogurt. Lots of fiber and weird gooeyness

Ufhhhh I know, me too! Another 28 year old that feels as if she's still 24. I just look slightly older now! And fatter...

I'm 5'5'', and started at least at 165 (maybe higher, I didn't weigh myself until I started mfp!), and am about 145 now. I am pescetarian, but am vegetarian mostly. Feel free to add me, and pursue my diary! Always looking for supprt

That ^ isn't helpful. OP, it is really hard to practice self control. I read a study about how overweight people actually utilize their willpower more than skinny people, but the difference is skinny people do not go into situations where they need to use willpower. For example, at a restaurant, a skinny and overweight…

yeah, i was wondering the same thing!

I will blend some cilantro, green onions, ginger, garlic, lime juice, and some peanut butter. It is delicious, somewhat Thai inspired, and fairly low calorie.

I'm very similar to you in that I'm also 28, 65 inches, but started at 165 lbs. It took a few months to lose about 15 lbs with a similar diet (although I only lift weights). However, as soon as I hit 150, my weight hasn't changed much. The last month has been mostly the same weight, but I've lost quite a few inches. Since…

Weights! I do strong lifts 5x5.

mine is open, i average about 1450/day

Haha yes, maybe someone who coughed up the $ 50 could tell us if the calorie count was accurate!

I read that article, and while I agree almost completely, I find his attitude towards women's gym attire disturbing. People shouldn't care what others wear, women, and men, should be entitled to wear whatever gym clothes they find comfortable. But misogyny is so engrained in everyone's subconsious that we just continue to…

All you can do is eat at a deficit and hope they come from your thighs! I've been logging, lifting heavy weights, and increasing my general activity, and in two months have gone from 25 inch thighs to about 23. Your results will most likely vary

lets bump this, it is so annoying! one of the biggest things MFP has to offer is its calorie count, and if it does not reflect our goals, then the app slowly becomes less reliable!!
-
At least you know it will happen, the slosh for weight! CICO has made weight loss less stressful for me. I know if I stick to it, I will lose. Or I can predict gains too haha

Gotta celebrate the NSV!
-
Dang, I know it's silly but I want to not see any more red bars in my weekly reports! It's totally in my head, but I just want mfp to track what my goal actually is
-
Yes, it is really bizarre, I tried both on the mobile and desktop versions!
-
Ah, I lift heavy weights 3x a week, and I really love it, but I think I should also add cardio to my routine. Cardio just is so boring to me, but perhaps HIIT will motivate me to do it. I wanna shrink those hips!
-
Please don't shoot for 2.5 in weight loss a week. You will honestly have much less muscle, more fat, and lots of loose skin after you finally lose enough weight for your goal. Set your loss to 1 or 1.5 lbs per week and make sure you strength train. Please believe me, you do not want to end up weak and skinny/fat at your…

Eshakti is really great! Wow, what a site, I love the customizations
