Did about 20 minutes of power yoga, ate at a deficit, and tracked every bite. Glad to be back, I already made a no snacking choice because I didn’t want to log it! MFP is the best way for me to lose weight, I was able to lose 50+ of baby weight after #1, enjoyed 2 months at my goal weight, then had #2, gained about 60 lbs,…

Hi! I’m also trying to lose the weight After my second baby. I have a 3 year old and a 3 month old, and have been successful losing weight before with MFP. I gained over 60 lbs with both pregnancies! But lost it all after the first, it took almost 1.5 years though. Breastfeeding increases my appetite, and I’m trying to eat…

Oh good, I was hoping you'd still be doing challenges! I did yours years ago, and now I need it to lose my baby weight from my second! I hope I'm not too late for this one, am I still able to join? :)
-
Yes I think that's a good plan. I lost my weight by eating an average of about 1650 a day, and maybe lost a little too fast, over a pound a week!

I feel you, I am still breastfeeding my 14 month old. How old is your nursling? If she is still under 6 months I'd say make sure you aren't trying to cut too many calories, as she is very dependent on your milk and your supply can suffer while in a deficit. It helped me to really eat a lot of veggies, like a HUGE bowl of…

I really love my Garmin Vivoactive!

Also, your eating 1153 calories is too low especially if you aren't eating back your exercise calories. And you need a few months if logging and exercising to see trends, not two weeks. Don't get discouraged, don't eat under 1200 net calories, and in two months see where you're at.

Uh, losing inches usually means losing fat. Job well done! Who cares what the scale says if your clothes fit better?

I am very sensitive to my hormonal fluctuations, and have no issue eating at maintenance a few days a month. Over the long term it really won't slow my weight loss down too much, and it makes those few days a lot more tolerable. Like others, my appetite dimishes after the start of my cycle, so it might even out.

Focus on your relationship with your baby and take it easy for now! I know the desperation of wantin to get back to pre pregnancy weight, I am still about 20 lbs away from mine and my baby just turned one! I am still breastfeeding too. But honestly the first year is hard enough without trying to lose lots of weight.…

I know I am incredibly late in joining, but I did some of your challenges last year and loved them. You are a great host. I worked very hard and had my ideal body, then got pregnant, and I had a beautiful baby! Now I need to focus on getting my weight down again! Is it possible to join halfway through this challenge?

Maintenance day!

Lift weights!! Made such a difference in my shape.

I eat them, as most of the protein and nutrition is in the yolk, and are worth the calories (and taste!) for me. I also buy ethical eggs, and it would be so wasteful to just chuck them away...

You should check out Dr. Beck's Diet solution from the library. She uses congitive behavior techniques to combat self-sabotage. She even pointed out thing I did not realize WERE sabotage, like "I deserve this treat for being so good at sticking to my diet" and "I'll start tomorrow" etc. I have no affiliation to her, just…

Do you play LoL? This just reminds me of cait, lol. Anyway, yes, I always talk about this myth to people. Metabolismssss

Congrats! I am about 6 weeks preggo myself. You don't need to gain weight during your first trimester, but I wouldn't diet. Eat at maintenance, and make a doctor appointment!

Ok, I am so glad to read this!! I've been heavy weightlifting since March with the odd cardio days thrown in, and I just found out in about 6 weeks along!! Very very excited, this is my first, but I am sad to be losing my newly found abs :( But I will continue, and give myself a break if I dont hit a PR!

if YOU hate weighing so much, then just buy a food scale, use it to weigh your food, and eat a reasonable amount of calories (for your height and weight and approximate age 1500, or more, seems alright) until YOU feel comfortable with your weight! Don't use others for motivation, this is your health, and your body. You…

Yes, I hate it

Got rid of everything that doesn't fit. But because of vanity sizing I own sizes 0 through 4. And larger sizes that have been altered to be in that range. Gotta love thrifting and tailors!

This is why logging everyday is so helpful! I can predict my water retention gains and hormonal variation, and the only surprise really is how much of a woosh I get, but there is always a woosh as long as I log. Thanks for the reminder, I hope others find this helpful! Trendline are much better than individual scattered…

Even after only 5 weeks doing gorgeous glutes and SL, I can say I see a difference in my leg and butt definition. I am still eating at a deficit, however, so I am not sure which of these is more influential. Probably both, as my glutes and hammies have never been so sore :)

Use dumbbells, OHP is tough for us women!

Twice a month, every single month, I gain 1 to 9 pounds for a day or so. Then I start losing weight after a few days again. Its normal, just learn to expect it. Seriously, last month NINE pounds lol

That's what I am doing. I'm 65 inches, female, and losing about a pound a week at 1600 cals. I only need to lose 9 more pounds until my goal weight of 120, but I'm sick of eating only 1600! However, I only have about 10 more weeks of 1600 then helllooooo maintence world, and 2100 cals a day is much better. OP, maybe…
