@KnitOrMiss I agree....Any time green beans and almonds are sauteed together you can count me in.....The rest sounds wonderful too..... Just saw this receipt in my ditch the carbs e-mail and thought it sounded fantastic too..... https://www.ditchthecarbs.com/low-carb-eggplant-parmesan-bites/

Tried them all in the beginning....Never could get used to either butter or coconut oil in my coffee.....Didn't mind the coconut oil in a cup of chai tea, but never really seemed to keep me satisfied all day the way some did. Didn't take me long to stop even bothering.....The longer I am keto the less stuff goes in my…

I think your calorie level will also be very individual. When I first started out I was at 1200 calories and after the 1st week of huge water weight my weight slowed and eventually stopped after about a month. I was still very strict at that time. Never over 20g (total) carbs. When trying to determine what might be helpful…

I personally like the Whisps better than the Moon cheese but have only tried the parmesan ones which were a little strong. I enjoyed using them as croutons on a salad for that crunch factor.

Nut butter? Nacho cheese? Just a wild guess...There are lots of crazy entries in the food database apparently....

I have tried the chicken and I liked it.....It was a little bland, but it's possible they have some different varieties now. I think cheese will last awhile if you don't mind that it gets a little squishy and greasy after being out of the fridge awhile....LOL

I have seen the canned chicken in a pouch as well if you don't like tuna.

This was my thought exactly.....we could be routinely off on our calorie counts by a bit just due to our own errors or errors in the food log items someone added that we used....

Americano with steamed heavy cream....Yum

My suggestion was going to be try eating about 1/2 the amount of sauce you normally do....See if that works....

Sometimes this milestones even though they drive us turn into mood killers as well. Once I had a goal I was trying to meet and I was finally within 1 lb. I had lost no less than 1 lb. every week so I knew I would meet the goal the next time I weighed in. That was the only week that I lost less than 1 lb. Only lost .7. And…

@h_jeffrey I'm right there with you.....I have always been the best of dieters. And the best at not dieting.....It was always the in between that got me. How to let go from calculating every detail just enough to maintain my weight. This is the first way of eating (I won't call it a diet) where I have finally been able to…

I think I remember someone mentioning also that if you drink a ton of water that you are basically just flushing out the salt, etc. that you are trying to supplement so it's a wash (literally). Don't overdo the water....Just drink a normal amount or you will need to take in even more sodium, etc.

Been thinking I should give up the caffeine one of these days just to see if it has any effect on me, but haven't gotten that brave yet....lol

@trish55011 - I have seen that some manufacturers will add in vegetable or canola oils to make the lighter (not extra virgin) types of olives oils.....

I can't speak to the treatment for passing gallstones, but will tell you that I did have personal experience with easing gall bladder pain by drinking apple juice (the most unfiltered unprocessed you can find). Cut my pain within 10 minutes of drinking it.

@mskeyaj - Starting an exercise routine can definitely cause the scale to move up especially the less active you were prior to the new routine. As far as the nuts and low carb bars it seems to be a more individualized area there. Some people definitely see things slow down or stop when eating these types of items. I…

@cstehansen - I second this.....OMG we treated ourselves here on a trip to Denver last month.....best treat ever for a LCHF diet.....

Yes...I'd love to know as well....My husband loves snickerdoodles.....and pumpkin pie....Might be a good treat for him!
-
@AlexandraCarlyle I love ginger....How long did it take to grow a root large enough to use?
-
Love the Zuppa Toscana too.....I just left out the potatoes and added extra kale because my daughter loves it!
-
Love soups myself as well....Basically had a very close version of this soup last night without the cream cheese and heavy whipping cream. We added sour cream and shredded cheese to taste.

Glad it's leaving the building....but ewwww...LOL

Guess I'm just the only person around who didn't know about this culinary delight.... :)

I guess it's not really any different than putting butter on toast, it's just something that never would have occurred to me...lol

Too funny!

@RAC56 My husband eats saltines with butter. You are the only other person I have ever heard of that does that. I wonder if it's a regional thing? He grew up in in the Northwest part of the United States.

Gonna have to try that....For sure....

The previous posters are right about different people being able to do well at different carb levels. I eat very low carb due to medical reasons, but my husband and daughter eat at somewhat higher carb levels than me and have both lost 40 and 30 lbs (respectively) since February. My daughter commonly eats the 6 net gram…

Currently having an aversion to bone in chicken due to the fact that I got some in a restaurant that wasn't cooked enough in the middle.....Blcck....just thinking about it.....
